This was my First time in providence, I wasn’t expecting anything great - let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised with this property. When I entered , the entrance and lobby did definitely impress me as I wasn’t expecting this, providence being a small town. A downside to my experience was that I had booked a room with twin queen beds with a confirmed email and reserved notification from the hotel but upon checking in they gave me a one king bed room. The rooms and toilet were neat and well done. I would have been great if the toilets were equipped with a health faucet or a bidet. The health and fitness centre was small but solves the purpose- got great Lifefitness equipment. I enjoyed my workout. The lounge was good with great breakfast and Starbucks coffee being available all the time. There is a small sweet shop open 24 hours to buy some small bites and off the shelf meds

We had a recent one night stay. It was perfect for us. We walked to dinner close by. The building is renovated Masonic temple with plenty of character. Our room was spacious, clean, with modern appointments. Restaurant and bar hit the spot with great staff after a night on the town. We would stay again.

Carlos at the front desk was very professional and accommodating! Being a world traveler for work, I feel Carlos went above and beyond for me and my family for this personal family overnight in Providence. We got a room with a wonderful view of the state capitol. My 4 year old son wanted to sleep with the curtains open so he could look at the statue "who he thought is one of the DC Super heros" He felt comforted being away from home but having a superhero watching over him as he slept. :) As for location, directly across from the state capitol building and up the hill, light walk, .10 of a mile from the Cheesecake Factory and the Providence Place Mall. We plan to return and stay here again, but for a longer duration.

I was lucky enough to stay here twice in a short period of time, once when a friend was in town and once for a night out with my husband. Both stays were absolutely wonderful. The hotel is immaculate and beautifully decorated and the location is within walking distance of the Providence Place Mall, the State House and a number of area restaurants. On my second stay we were upgraded to the presidential suite as my husband is a frequent Marriott guest. The room was spectacular and the views blew up both away. We almost hated to leave to go to dinner! I also loved the framed blueprints of the historic building from when it served as a masonic temple. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Providence!

great room, awesome view of the capitol. The breakfast service was fair at best. I wouldn't eat there. We would stay there again when we travel through town. We enjoy visiting the city. A lot to do and see
