The good: Convenient central location. Internet connection adequate and free. $30/day credit toward breakfast. Good quality bathroom amenities. The bad: $28/night mandatory valet parking if you have a car (plus tips for the valets of course! They are all nice and have to run a long way to get your car.) Only two elevators, far apart and slow. I had...

this hotel was an excellent hotel for its proximity to the down town area of Providence. The room was well equipped and was well decorated and very spacious. All hotel staff were informative and pleasant. Only downside was the lack of information provided by hotel on its facilities, when I enquired about this I was informed by check in desk that...

The good: nice staff, good area, reasonable price (we got a special rate for a convention we were attending) attractive, well-kept furnishings, nice, reasonably-sized room. The soap also smelled very nice. The bad: when you see you got a corner room, you say "yay, fewer neighbors to bother us with their noise." Which is true, unless there is a nightclub...

My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Hotel Providnce and could not have been happier. The staff was great. Even though we got there at 1am, the man behind the desk was kind enough to walk me out into the neighborhood and point me in the direction of a local food truck that he knew would still...

This hotel is beautiful!! The staff are very accomodating and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite and it was beautiful and very clean. Room service was wonderful. The hotel is in a very central location, just mintues from the Providence Mall. Enjoyed the valet parking as well. Can't wait to go back to Hotel Providence!

Stayed here one night over the weekend and was happy with the hotel. It's centrally located, nicely decorated and the rooms are spacious. As others have noted, you will hear the noise from the club next door (we were in room 312). I live in Manhattan (next to a bar) and didn't think it would be a big deal, but...

Stayed here for a friend's wedding in Providence. The hotel is next to night clubs, and the rooms don't have adequate sound dampening to block much of the noise. So we're being asked to pay boutique luxury hotel prices for a room where it would be impossible for even the hardest sleeper to get a wink. Listening to dance club...

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We have been working diligently with Providence city officials regarding the downtown evening outdoor activities, resulting in a 95% reduction in such events this year. Unfortunately, this was not the case during the weekend of your stay. Please accept my apology for the lack of appropriate response on behalf of our front...

The hotel was pretty nice. We were going to have a normal room with two queens, but we ended up being upgraded to a suite (same beds, but nicer) at the last minute. The suite had a small sitting room, a gigantic bedroom and a very nice bathroom. There is a delicious restaurant downstairs, great place for breakfast. My only...
