This was our first time in area. I would like to thank the front desk staff, Alexander and Hannah. They were very kind and helpful. Hotel has a special that when you eat at certain restaurants in area, provide receipt to front desk, you get a discount on room in the amount of 20% of food purchase. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay again.
Location!!! Right in the heart of downtown and so close to everything walking distance! The place was spotless and smelled clean! Due to the times were in now, it was known that it was well cleaned! Didn’t feel unsafe at all! The bed was unbelievably comfortable and great service! Still a full breakfast done safely. Hot foods served to you and all the extras continental foods still available. Great price for this hotel! I would stay here again!!!
I stayed at this hotel for three nights. I was assigned room 907. My nightly rate was $66.00 + tax per night. Service - Service was great. All staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, including the various front desk staff and the breakfast attendant. Room - Room was large and super clean. Super comfortable bed. Great working and quiet wall unit AC/heater. Microwave. Mini refrigerator worked great. Safe. Great window shade that completely kept the room dark when sleeping in. Great fast wi-fi. Bathroom was pretty typical. Nice counter space for your toiletries. Shower water temperature got and stayed very hot, which I love. Hotel Information - The hotel has 110 rooms and 11 floors. The lobby is compact, but nice. They were serving a hot breakfast, despite COVID-19. The only difference was that it was not self-service. A staff member served you instead. I liked the contactless check-in option. Digital key and check-in from the Hilton app was available. Super convenient. Face masks are required at all times and all staff were wearing face masks covering their nose and mouth. Plexiglass dividers were installed at the front desk and hand sanitizer was available in many locations, I like that the elevator requires you to use your room key. This makes it safer. Parking may seem challenging, but it is not. Valet parking is temporarily suspended due to COVID-19. The Arcade Parking Garage is located directly next door to the hotel. It is $22.00 per night with unlimited in/out privileges and you can charge it to your room. There is also a paved lot directly behind the hotel called MetroLot. The cost is $20.00 per day, but you must pay the onsite attendant directly since it is not affiliated with the hotel. I chose the parking garage so I could charge it to my room. The parking garage was safe and convenient. Google maps always took me to the back of the hotel off of Pine Street. This is exactly where the paved lot is. You can also enter The Arcade Parking Garage off of Pine Street or off of Weybosset Street. Location - Great central location in the heart of Providence’s Financial District. You can easily walk to so many spots……Rhode Island State House, Brown University (up a big hill), Antram-Gray House, Prospect Terrace Park, Roger Williams National Memorial, Providence Place, Rhode Island Irish Famine Memorial, First Baptist Church in America (1638), Moshassuck River, Providence River, Woonasquatucket River, Water Place Park, Providence Performing Arts Center, Johnson & Wales University, Downtown Providence, etc. Federal Hill, with tons of great restaurants, is about a 25-minute walk. There is a Starbucks and Dunkin’ close to the hotel. I highly recommend staying here if your travels bring you to the beautiful and historic city of Providence!…
First stay post COVID-19. Hotel is amazingly clean! Elevator has paper towels dispenser, cleaner, trash can so if you wish you can clean buttons. Trash can always emptied and hotel is clean. We are returning guests at this hotel as we have a child at JWU. Hotel is within walking distance of everything. Right off I 95. Staff is always friendly and helpful and professional! IMHO there is no other place to stay when visiting providence
Alexander went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. He had a suggestion for places to go and things to do and fun restaurants. Super helpful and super friendly. The hotel is the perfect location and it's clean and practicing all of the Covid guidelines. We will stay there again when we go back to Providence!
