Yes, some of the RV spaces are rather close together, but NOT too close as some reviewers said. We had plenty of room and clearance for our slide out. And our space had a picnic table on a deck in front of the trailer in the trees. It was really pretty. If you are in a tent or a cabin... More

This facility is owned & operated by great people! They truly care about their guests. The facility is always clean & well kept. We have been traveling to Estes Park for about 10 years & book here every time. We usually rent a cabin. Their extra activities options are well priced. We LOVE the all you can eat panckaes every... We decided to stay here on a Saturday night, because it was one of the only available camping spots in Estes on such short notice. We got a tent spot which was 36$. The spots are okay, room for one car and a smaller tent with a shaded picnic table and a fire pit. The bathrooms are pretty nice and... More

Yes it's not a hotel. But for the reason we come to the Rockies , KOA is a perfect place to stay. The owners and guests are friendly clean and polite. Internet was a little spotty, not a big deal, except for the rainy day we stayed home. But the views are fantastic. The location and setting is perfect.

I stayed at the Estes Park KOA for four nights. I rented a cabin with a double bed and bunk beds. I was happy I had a cabin when I arrived because there was a mountain thunderstorm blowing through the area and having a dry cabin to go to was a relief! This was my first experience at a KOA.... We stayed for two nights in the Cozy Cabin. It was perfect size for the two of us! We liked bringing our own sheets for comfort. The cabin (K8) was clean and in a great location to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were very clean for a campground (mainly the communal ones, not the individual ones). The campground is in a... More

We stayed here with family over the July 4th holiday. We really enjoyed the facility. We stayed in a small cabin. Cabin and showers/restrooms werevery clean, great location, right across from Lake Estes. Highly recommend!

We had a family reunion at this campground recently with a total of 18 of us. 2 families in cabins and 2 families camping in Trailers. The Cabins were nice, but the Kozy Cabins only have a fan and can get warm in the summer heat. At night they cooled down around 10pm or so. We had to use a... More

The deluxe Kottage suited our needs and staff was very friendly. The ice cream nights and pancake breakfast are well organized and delicious. The hosts do a great job giving kids rides in the KOA barrel "train" thru the campground. Bring your bicycle to take advantage of easy bike path. Start across the street and take Estes lake loop to... More

Estes Park seems amazing but this KOA is not. They have packed RV's and campers into tent sized sites including parallel parking. The showers are on elevated so that someone standing at the sink can see as you shower. There is NO room to park a car on your site (we have a short pop up and a minivan) and... More

My apologies for your experience at our campground. It might help to know a little about the history of our park. It was built in 1965 and was the 7th KOA built in America. Going back to 1965, most campers were in tents, or the more fortunate were in small popup trailers. The largest units in 1965 would have been... More
