If you travel to Estes Park, you have to stay at this hotel. It is the most breathtaking beautiful place. The building is historic and beautiful and they have a wonderful whiskey bar and Cascades restaurant with delicious food! The staff is incredibly nice here and the building is rich with history and ghost tours. You can walk to downtown Estes Park from the Stanley Hotel. They have lot's of shopping restaurants and things to do near by. Do not miss the opportunity to stay at the Stanley, whether at the main building, the lodge or their condo's this property is by far the best place I have ever stayed and the most relaxing place I have ever stayed.

We spent our wedding anniversary at the Stanley Hotel. It was like stepping back into another time. We have spent time here before but this was the first time staying at the hotel. It did not disappoint. A shout out to Maurice for his gracious welcome to the hotel. It was a wonderful way to end a special week.

My wife and I along with her dad and mother-in-law spent 4 days at the Stanley staying at both the original Stanley hotel and their new Aspire building. We ate in their Cascade restaurant for breakfast and dinner and it was very nice. The different hotels make for a unique experience for everyone. We also enjoyed their evening tour of the Stanley that explores the haunted history of the hotel. It was an enjoyable experience and their staff was very nice and very helpful. In particular Amanda made sure that we were well taken care of during our stay making sure to accommodate our dad who was wheelchair bound. Also another one of their staff Maurice went out of his way to help us during our transition to their Aspire building for the last part of our stay. Maurice went above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion moving all of our luggage from the 4th floor down to the parking lot and helping load it into our Jeep and helped our dad in his wheelchair get to the Jeep through a side door of the hotel that is normally not open to the public. Maurice exemplified what it means to be in the hospitality business. I think we might find our way back to Estes Park on a future vacation and we will stay here again.
