I was under the assumption that all "Eagles Nests" we're just that, a nest "up high" "top" etc. All reviews and even the hotel lead you to believe that. Well as we pulled up the hill to room #28 we were surprised to find it was down on 2nd floor not the 3rd. The view is ok at best from... More

First of all, we need to address the fact that that a 2 night stay was booked on June 30th for the only Eagles Nest Suite that was open(we have 2, and the top level was booked on June 7th) and they were booked into the 2nd level unit. We do not guarantee a specific room NUMBER unless a 5... More

Great location next to entrance to Rocky Mt Park, Stayed in the Jewel studio; room was very nicely furnished and laid out. Large and was perfect for two with couch, and king bed, fireplace and microwave, coffee pot, toaster and fridge. Room was like brand new. Loved the private hot tub on our balcony that was always hot. Nice view... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week in August. Our room was very nice and had plenty of space. Nice full kitchen with everything you need. It had a nice deck with a good hot tub. Our room had a very comfortable bed. The only thing we did not have and they did not have anywhere on the... More

I was really impressed with this place! It was much fancier and nicer than I expected. Really nice room, decorated in nice Western/Native American theme. Pretty new, too. Had kitchenette and gas fireplace. Large balcony with hot tub we used twice, while watching the moon and stars. When we first got there, the spa didn't work; the manager fixed it... More

My wife and I stayed at Wildwood Inn four nights in late July. It was great. The property is kept in pristine condition by gardeners and maintenance people. The Rocky Mountain National Park is on their back property line. The views are great with lots of wildlife. The room was in the Aspen Suites. It was very clean, spacious and... More

Our favorite lodging in Estes so far. Great location and great staff. Rooms were very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after awesome visits to the park. Only a few miles from town and just before the park entrance.

Wildwood Inn was able to get us in for a last minute visit. The Black Bear room was great for two and only a step away from the shared hot tub (30 minute private reservations). Nice to be able to cook in room and enjoy the charcoal grill, and eat on the patio. DVD library for evening entertainment. Super easy... More

Stayed at the Wildwood Inn last 4 nights and needed to visit the front desk a few times for restocking basics. "Surly" would be the best choice of words to describe both male and female staff. Conditions of unit itself nasty. Walk-up to a 1 bedroom condo with loose, dirty carpet, old kitchen cabinets with minimal supplies. Keep on driving.

Awesome location! Just on the outer northern edge Estes Park (away from all the bustle of downtown and crowds) and only a couple of miles from one of the gates to entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. The location is quiet, away from all the crowds yet close enough to go into town for dinners, shopping and groceries. The... More
