We enjoyed our quiet time here after long days of exploring Rocky Mountain Natl. Park. The elk were a special treat right outside our front door. Even saw black bears just down the road one night! The accomodations were great for a anniversary trip. Bed was comfortable.

This place was wonderful. The cabins/rooms were wonderful as well. They were very spacious clean and very well maintained. Close to town but out enough to be quiet. The owners were very nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Estes.

The place was gorgeous! The room isn't as small as you would think. Perfect for 2, the hot tub is awesome. You can turn off the hot tub whenever you please. Not far from town but enough for it to be peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the Mustang cabin and we will be going back for sure.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was 5 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park, and 5 minutes into town, all with avoiding the worst of the Estes Park traffic. We loved hiking all day and coming back to work out the kinks in the hot tub and then reading by the fire. We made breakfast in the... More

My wife and I stayed in one of the cabins and found this to be a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. It is an easy short drive to town but far away enough to be very quiet. The owner we met is very nice and has all of the information you would need to explore the area. I... More

My husband and I visited Shadow Mountain 7/22/2015-7/26/2015 for a quick getaway. We were greeted with open arms. Tina and Rob made us feel welcome like we were family. We stayed in the Rustic Romance cabin and we had a fantastic time. The room was lovely and was very clean. The area outside also was well taken care of and... More

The location was great- close to everything including RMNP. The room was decent- cozy and good size. However, the smell of chlorine and hot tub chemicals got to us right away. Nice having a hot tub in the room, but the noise and smell were not worth it. Plus it was WAY too hot to even sit in at 106... More

Our stay was from 6/3/15- 6/5/15. We were there to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. Tina and Rob were more than excellent hosts, they are very accommodating and friendly. The cabins are off the beaten path, which is great so that it is a quiet stay. We enjoyed the wildlife passing through the property. The bed is very comfortable(king size)... More

My husband and I stayed here the weekend of May 29 and 30, 2015 for our 4th anniversary. I'm looking forward to going back! It's set at the base of the mountains, on a very quiet road. The cabins look like they're set in the back yard of the hosts' home. There's 2 rooms per cabin but they're set up... More
