The owner, Rick and his family make this steep sloped park a great stop for a few nights. It is far enough out of Estes Park that we felt that nature was around us. In fact a herd of bull Elk munched their way through a thicket across the road and gave us thirty minutes of awe. This place is... More

This campground provided a great base camp for out family trip (boys 6 and 2) to RMNP. We rented RV 3 and it was equipped with everything we needed, including towels, bedding, coffee pot and toaster. Plenty of free activities for the boys, including swimming (pool was warm) and mini golf. It was a quick, easy drive to Estes Park... More

The second I walked through the door to check in, one of the ladies slammed her hand held radio down on the desk in frustration. I guess their computer systems went down, again. She was obviously not a happy camper! People come here for family fun and vacation, not to deal with stressed out campground workers... We were assigned our... More

Took our three boys age 4, 7 & 9. Had lots of fun. Boys favorite was laser tag by far. Staff very friendly. We typically camp in national and state parks and still prefer that type of camping but this was nice change. Four stars because the heated pool was freezing and we were really looking forward to spending a... More

This is a great place if your goal is to disconnect completely. There is no cell service and the wifi is spotty when it's good. We stayed in cabin 31, and the bed was so uncomfortable that I woke up each morning in pain. The towels were stained and the floors needed to be mopped. Also, on our last day,... More

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay Unfortunately there was a water line break in the lower section of the park during your stay. It was fixed and water was back on in 45 minutes. The rest of the campground along with the upper restroom still had water during that time. We apologize for... More

I hated this place. Our tent site was located so far from the restrooms (and up a steep hill) we actually got in the car to drive the kids to the bathroom. Bathrooms were terrible. Only two stalls, one of the men's was plugged for quite some time. We are avid campers, but we'll stick to KOA in the future.... More

Staff was nice, lot was small, fun activities for kids, gorgeous mountain view. The hill can be a tough one to hike up and down. Nice playground, free putt-putt, we did not go to the swimming pool, but it looked nice. I was nervous tent camping. The staff was very nice when we decided to check out early. I would... More

My friend and I recently brought our kids here. We stayed in 3 Bears cabin. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen! Another bonus was the propane grill outside under the covered picnic table. We had a total of 6 boys with us ranging in age from 10-16 and they all... More

My family is very spread out in this country. We reserved 6 months in advance and somehow they knocked 4 days off of our trip reservation. It really sucked having to say goodbye 4 days sooner. The bathrooms are small and not near the tents at all. The quiet time is just a nice idea you're told about, kids run... More

Let's get the "bad" out of the way first. The sites near the front of the park are somewhat noisy from the proximity to the road. That's it! It's close to town. This park has friendly staff, kid activities as well as mini golf included in your stay, hiking, clean pool and nice playgrounds. If you don't feel like cooking... More
