This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Castle Mountain lodge. They do such a great job. Very friendly and really take care of you. This is such a great location by the river and backs up to a mountain. We live it there. We recommend to all and we will be back again.

We stayed at the Little River cabin located just to the left of the bridge after crossing onto the property. It was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Wonderful patio by the Fall River. WiFi connection was strong - could do needed follow up with business when necessary. Equipped kitchen. Some difficult circumstances with Covid-19 this year and extreme dryness resulting in no charcoal fires. But staff was friendly, had cautionary measures in place, and we had access to a propane grill. Been coming here since the late 1980's and will return next year. So convenient to both the Fall River entrance to RMNP and to Estes Park.

Our stay at Castle Mountain Lodge was amazing! We were there from September 27 through October 1. The cabin (we stayed in Little River) was extremely clean and perfect for what we needed. I’d like to add ... the water gets and stays hot ... even after 4 people have showered ... something many places just can’t compare to. The entire compound is beautiful and serene! It’s right there close to the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We saw lots of beautiful birds, chipmunks, rabbits and even turkeys. Sitting by the river is so relaxing and calming. My husband caught (and released) a couple of trout. I just can’t say enough good things about Castle Mountain Lodge! The staff was so friendly and had plenty of information and tips to share. We are DEFINITELY going back!

We have stayed at Castle Mountain many times over the past 25 years. Always well cared for and friendly staff. Wanda is the BEST. I think they need to rethink their cancelation policies, particularly in light of the Covid 19 pandemic.

This was our second stay at Castle Mountain. My wife and I stayed here most recently for a week in mid-September. We did not want to leave! The facility is nicely laid out with a paved road leading to all cabins. The Adirondack chairs, benches and picnic tables throughout the resort and along the river offer many places to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We used the gas grills for dinner a couple times, and really appreciated the small kitchen for preparing breakfasts. Our cabin was neat, tidy, clean and very well maintained. We toured a larger 10-person unit in anticipation of a future visit with more of our family. It looked wonderful. The staff is very helpful. The location, so close to the RMNP entrance, is great for pre-dawn visits to view wildlife. A trip to Estes Park is equally close for groceries, restaurants and shopping.
