This is the second time we stayed at the Valhalla Resort and each time couldn't have been more perfect. From price, service, and cleanliness we will continue to stay at the Valhalla Resort. So far cabin # 28 is our favorite, and if you read the cabin journal, you'll see some

Very cozy cabin but the furnace and the stove are very old models that leak gas when lit. Noisy furnace and fridge. We had to keep the windows open all the time because of the gas smell. The attendant came over to check the gas smell and told us it was due to the fact that the

We did come to the cabin to check for any issues. There was most assuredly NOT a gas leak. However, at ignition, it is completely normal for there to be a faint gas smell that quickly dissipates. We have had this cabin in constant use and have had zero other complaints or issues. Perhaps the guest was unfamiliar with gas appliances.

This is our second time visiting Estes. We booked a large VRBO last time. It was quite expensive but worth it. This time I found this wonderful home (on VRBO listings) for almost half of what we paid on our last trip. We stayed in 17a. Could easily sleep 9, had a grill, 3

My wife and I decided at the last moment to go back to Estes Park. We had stayed at Valhalla the year before in cabin #12 and were very happy with the accommodations. Very open living and kitchen area, large bathroom and the furniture was very comfortable. We called and they

After fees had gone up at some of the other Estes Park properties, I thought I'd give Valhalla Resort a chance. I am very happy I did. I reserved two homes for four nights. The property managers are very easy to work with. The kitchens were well stocked, but I requested a

Does anyone know what cabin #5 is like? We have it booked for Aug., 2019.
Cabin 5 is one of our more rustic cabins. It has a lot of charm and a "mountain cabin" feel with a built in stone fireplace and wood accents throughout. It is one of our most affordable three bedroom options. It has a queen bedroom, full bedroom, and 3rd bedroom with 2 twins. It sits up on a hill above the road, so one can enjoy nice mountain views from the deck.

They do not have air conditioning, at least not in the cabin I stayed in and I don't believe they have it in any, and it stayed around 80 degrees in our cabin during the day. Not ideal. At night we opened the windows until we went to bed and were able to get it down to 76 degrees each night which was liveable. Ours had a dishwasher but we didn't stay in cabin #5 but you will want it seeing as if you do not wash all your dishes before you leave you will be charged extra fees.
