We stayed in the Timberline RV. It was perfect! Especially since our reserved cabin at Skyline Cottages was double booked. Jannie was so sweet! Listened to my disappointment and made the reservation happen. My daughter and I had a lovely time. The RV was clean and in working order. Coffee by the river was good for my soul! Will definitely return!

Private hot tubs outside for each cabin and bed and breakfast unit. Only place around Estes with this feature! Friendly and clean. As with many places around Estes it’s a rustic property. The cabins are on the river and have a private fire pit on the river as well. Bring your own fire wood if you want a fire. The bed and breakfast rooms share a common fire pit right on the river. The cabins have kitchens which is great during the pandemic. There are picnic tables around the property as well as chairs to relax. There are gas bar b que grills for each cabin and a shared grill for the bed and breakfast rooms. The property is large enough to take a walk or you can drive 5 minutes to walk around lake Estes. The property is located below the dam. One can fish the water but not keep the fish. We’ve been vacationing every year at this property for about 10 years. The owners are wonderful as is their side kick John! We’ve seen many weddings at this property. It’s perfect for a wedding or family reunion of 50 -/+. The giant deck right on the river is picturesque for those special occasions. The convenient location of the property is the best part of getting away. The property is on the east side of Estes Park. Not having to drive through town to get there is nice when we drive up in the evening after work. Don’t forget to make your reservations to Rocky Mountain National Park 48 hours in advance if you have plans to visit the park.

We celebrated our 38th anniversary at Dripping Springs Resort this past weekend June 20 and after nearly four months of Covid 19 staying at home what a homerun we hit staying in Estes Park, Colorado! Our bedroom the Aspen Glenn Cottage B&B room was MARVELOUS with our own personal private hot tub for two and matching lounge chairs provided. Twinkle lights over our King-Size Sleep Number Bed was so relaxing and serene. We set both our sides to number 5 for ultimate softness and best night sleep we have both had in years! Dinners for two by candlelight on our private patio table and separate lounger made for intimate conversations and shared special time each evening to reconnect as a couple in love. Best part were strolls by the creek private to guests onsite with many chairs for seating and hammocks for snoozing and trails of beauty just outside your back door. Breakfast was delicious by Jayne as she had a spread fit for us every morning outside the office with the best coffee and muffins. We were only a few minutes from RMNP where we made our one day park pass reservation 2-days ahead of time and spent the afternoon with the Elk in the park and picnic by the visitor center was a bonus and many stops and once inside the park there are so many trails along the way to take in the beauty of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Estes Park Main Street in itself was so much fun a modern day mountain town with so many speciality shops and of course you must have dinner at the "Chop House" next to Estes Park (Lake) Marina and order the Filet Mignon and Trout...melt in your mouth. We will be back next June 2021 for our 39th anniversary you can bet your boots and thank you Dripping Springs Resort for allowing us to make such special memories for my wife and myself on our weekend couples getaway..we are both so excited to see a Bull Elk next Year! This is our second stay at Dripping Springs! We have nothing bad to say about it. We have now stayed in two different rooms which are each special in their own way. Each room has it's own private patio and jacuzzi. Breakfast made each morning by Jayne starts your day and is absolutely delicious. The property is gorgeous and we don't tend to leave, there is no need to with grills and refrigerators for food. I got a massage in the morning, it was wonderful and right next to the Big Thompson River. In just two days, we saw a little black bear and a baby elk. This place is magic. If we cant make it back this summer, we will be back next. Thanks, Jayne!
