My husband and I stayed there for three nights in one of their small cabins. For me cleanliness is most important and everything is spotless. The cabin we stayed in was very cute but not fancy. The only negative was the small size of our cabin. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is quiet and away from the... More

The cottage was so clean and tidy and newly painted. It was comfortable and had all the comforts of home including a kitchen complete with dishes and cookware. Being close to the river was nice. The traffic noise was a bit bothersome early in the evening but stopped at a decent hour.

We stayed here for one night although we originally wanted two but they were full. We hadn't pre-booked and after trying about 6 hotels on the same road, which the cheapest was USD 220 we stumbled upton this place and what a find! We stayed in one of the smallest cabins but it was plenty big enough for two. Had... More

We loved Whispering Pines. This was our first visit to Colorado and such a great place to stay. The location is perfect - away from the crowds in Estes Park, but close enough to everything we wanted to do. The cabin is small, but had a deck on the back overlooking the river, and chairs to sit in that were... More

Great location just outside of town..maybe a 5 minute drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Our little guy loved the playset and toys provided. We loved sitting by the river and seeing wildlife (saw elk right next to our cabin, coyote and deer across the river, lots of birds). The cabin itself (we stayed in #16) was basic but... More

My family stayed here for the 4th of July Holliday and we greatly enjoyed it. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin that was small but all we needed. The cabin and grounds were clean and the staff very friendly. There was a lot, I mean A LOT Of traffic noise though but the property has no control over that.... More

My daughter and I stayed here during our last trip to Estes Park July of 2012. I have no complaints...hoping to stay here again this summer. Loved the rustling river next to our cabin and convenience to town was great. Staff was very helpful and polite.

What a beautiful place our cabin was right on the river this place is on the other side of town so it's a little quieter but not a far drive to the happenings. Rooms are somewhat small but cabins are quaint and clean each one has a deck and chairs to sit out by the river we stayed during memorial... More

Found this place by searching the web and falling in love with photos and location - 50s / 60s retro although in all likelyhood 'original'. Very basic amenities but clean and tidy - right by the river. We dealt with the proprietress who was great and also helped with queries regrarding the town. Great place would go again.
