We had a wonderful experience here! The spa room far exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable bed, clean room with a newly remodeled feel! The colors and decor throughout the room flowed nicely and was very relaxing/ romantic! The jacuzzi was clean and comfortable and the double shower was beautiful! Fire place was the cherry on top, not to mention the...

My fiance and I stayed here for a couple of nights on a road trip to NY. It's was -16F outside but the room was nice warm and cozy. Great location close to national park. Having a fireplace in our room made it so much cozier and romantic. We are definitely coming back!

We had a cute cozy cabin with real fireplace and BBQ. Our cabin was perfect for 2 people. Everything you need you will find there. Wood for the fireplace, kitchen stuff from spoon to pan". Very warm inside even in January. very strong heater. Hot water comes fast, you don't have to wait even 5 min. Clean roads. You can...

We drove all the way from MN to stay at Amberwood and visit Rocky Mountain National Park. First, the positive observations. We stayed in the Mountain Home and it was clean and cozy, rustic pine walls and a two story rock fireplace. The fireplace is the centerpiece of the whole place. The property is well located along with many others...

My husband and I just stayed here this weekend, 12/10-12/11/16. We fell in love it! We just planned our second stay with Amberwood for the week between Christmas and New Year's. It's cozy, friendly, inexpensive and very comfortable! Loved having a fireplace in our room. We stayed in the Mountain Lodge.

We booked at Amberwood for a getaway based on the TA reviews and the price. It's not a 5-star resort, but then again, they don't market themselves as such. Amberwood is a comfortable, cozy place to stay in Estes Park at an affordable price. Checkin was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a queen room in the 6-unit building. The...

My husband and I booked the Mountain Lodge 2nd Floor Deluxe Spa (#18) by phone for our early September 3-night stay. The dirt/gravel driveway and rustic exterior gave way to a room, small in square footage but BIG on romantic amenities - comfy King bed, wood burning fireplace, corner jetted tub, and double shower w/ tile & glass block walls/river...

Stayed here a couple nights and had a wonderful stay. very relaxing and comfortable. Fireplace is great with small dining table and nice loveseat. Nice view of creek across road from front porch(sit by the shuffleboard court for a little closer view). Bathroom a little tight but very nice shower. It does have a nice dressing area with lots of...

Vintage place that seems stuck in time, but so charming just for this reason. We rented a simple room in the back motel. It came with a private fireplace, a beautiful balcony view. This is a wonderful, relaxing, a calming place to rest and relax after a few vigorous hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park.
