In the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado is this amazing place called Wind River Ranch! Just arrived home after a wonderful week in God's Country, Estes Park, Colorado! The grandeur of the Rockies from your cozy cabin, the lovely swimming pool, the horse arena and dining hall are views you will never forget. The gourmet meals and friendly staff were wonderful. Each staff member was there to serve the guests with kindness and a smile. Best staff of young people I have ever seen. The best part of my week was the people I met. Great family's and couples from all around the country. The fellowship with like-minded Christians was a huge blessing! The morning devotions were optional, but everyone wanted to be there to sing and worship God in the beautiful scenic setting of majestic mountains. Recording star Brandon Heath from Nashville, gave a fabulous concert, plus he sang each day to inspire us and encourage us in our faith. What a voice and what a sweet family he has that blessed us daily with their love for each other and for the Lord. From cook outs to square dances and all the horse riding you could ever desire, this is the place to come apart and rest or have fun enjoying your family and friends. They do everything with excellence here and they do it for THE GLORY OF GOD!…
The Ranch is a place that allows you to rest your mind and soul. The Staff is amazing and has exemplified every bit of Galatians 5:13. We met lifelong friends and enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, biking, porch reading, and amazing food. Thank you all! We can’t wait to come back!
There are not many places like Wind River Ranch. This was a vacation of a lifetime that gives a family so much more than just entertainment. It is a place where time and people are valued and kids can play freely and safely. Everything is taken care of with love from start to end. Although it wasn’t our cheapest vacation it was our most valuable for all the special moments we shared as a family and we left closer than when we came. The sleeping quarters, the food , the service was all impeccable but how were were treated and cared for is something I haven’t felt since the 80s. This is a step back in time when things were simpler and times were better. We WILL be back. Thank you Wind River, you are a blessing.
Wind River Ranch surpassed all expectations we had for a family trip. The Ranch does everything in excellence, from food to accommodations. I highly recommend the Ranch to anyone looking to have the time of their lives!
My wife and I had an absolute amazing time during our week at the ranch! We arrived in the evening when it was dark so didn’t really know what we were missing on the drive up from Denver. When I woke up and went for a run the next morning...are you kidding me?! Wherever you are on the property you are continually reminded of why you went to Colorado on vacation. When it comes to activities to choose from, we saw the list and there are plenty of options to keep you busy. I always thought riding horses in the mountains would be so cool and I was right! We both had a good time weaving through the forest trail. We also did the E-bikes and those were super fun as well. The ranch is also really close to Estes Park so we were able to head into town for an afternoon and see the elk, get some souvenirs for the kids, and walk around and enjoy the town. Then there’s the food...oh man, we seriously felt spoiled. Come to think of it, I am actually kind of mad they roll out the red carpet like they did because how am I supposed to integrate back into real life and the basics I usually eat? All kidding aside, both my wife and I loved the quality as well as the variety throughout the week. But what sets Wind River apart is their staff. Friends who have been told us going in that we would be blown away and they nailed it. The crew at the ranch is the best. Cowboy Aaron and Cowboy Nick are amazing leaders who lead an incredible crew. They are so kind, gracious, helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and willing to jump in and help make your time with them restful and impactful. I’ve been to countless hotels, resorts, and world class attractions and the Wind River staff easily comes in at the top slot. I know it sounds a little over the top...but if you’ve been, you agree. If you’ve not been, go see for yourself and I have no doubt you’ll experience the same that we did. The whole time we were there as a couple we kept saying our kids would absolutely love it here and we are trying to figure out how to make that happen. We were so thankful for our week there and HIGHLY recommend to anyone that they should find their way there ASAP. Thanks Wind River Ranch for an amazing experience, we had a blast and hope to see you again soon!…
My husband and I were able to spend 5 days together at Wind River Ranch. It was the best experience!! We will be bringing our whole family next season. We experienced a variety of activities and had great spaces to relax and unwind. The lodging was cozy and comfortable and the staff was exceptional. Aaron and his staff were genuine in their desire to serve. The food must also be mentioned as the chef’s heart shows through her food. This place blessed us tremendously this week and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to spend time somewhere beautiful. This place will not disappoint:)
The views, the activities, the staff, the accommodations, the food, the attention to detail, all...spectacular! We enjoyed an incredible week of adventures and pampering and hope to go back again and again!
We had a very refreshing and soul-renewing time at Wind River Ranch. We enjoyed several outings they organized including a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, a horse ride, e-biking, and time off just to sit outside and soak in the mountains. The meals and personal attention were superb!
We just returned from Wind River Ranch on a retreat and it was the most incredible experience. The staff was some of the most kind and accommodating I've ever encountered--we visited during an unseasonably cold week and they did everything possible to ensure guests were comfortable and adjusted the activity schedule in response to the weather. The facilities were well maintained; we stayed in a large cabin with 2 king beds and 4 bunks. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out in our cabin! The food was impeccable and the location perfect. We were just a few miles outside of Estes Park, giving easy access for anyone who wanted to visit town, yet you still felt secluded on the property. I can't sing Wind River Ranch's praises enough!
My stay at Wind River Ranch left me rejuvenated and refreshed far beyond my expectation! All the staff are so friendly and kind. From horseback riding, to electric bikes, to hiking trails to kayaking on Estes lake, Wind River Ranch has it all! Very grateful for how refreshing our stay was and I hope to come soon again! If you’re reading this review and haven’t yet stayed at this Ranch... trust me, you better be booking your tickets now! (;
