We stayed here on a recommendation from a friend and we were very happy with the place. It was perfect for our family vacation and loved the location. We really liked being able to enjoy coffee in the morning by the river and a cocktail in the evening. We ate most of our meals at the resort, so it was very convenient and definitely saved us money from eating out every day. The place was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint is that the beds were very firm and not comfortable so we didn’t sleep the best. We prefer a softer bed, but that is a personal preference. Not something that would prevent us from staying here again.

This is our 7th stay at the Bear Paw and River Stone Resorts and we truly consider it our home away from home. The setting is in the Rocky Mountains and the suites are clean, quiet and offer beautiful views of nature and wildlife. The complex managers are friendly, accommodating and on their game. And, their dog, Otis, is one of the friendliest greeters we have ever encountered. We have visited Estes Park for many years, and the Bear Paw has always been and will always be our #1 choice. We want to live there permanently.

There is nothing better than relaxing next to a mountain stream. Riverstone definitely delivers with soothing sounds of the Fall River right outside your door. The unit itself had everything we needed to prepare our own meals which was a plus since we don't eat out much. Our teen granddaughter enjoyed having her own room & bathroom in the nice, roomy loft space. It was nice being close to RMNP entrance and also nice to be visited by a majestic bull ELK on our first morning there. We love Estes Park and won't ever look anywhere else for a place to stay when we return!

We love it here!! We used to never go away for our anniversary over the decades. Busy kids, busy seasons. However after experiencing a lengthy hospital stay & time on ventilator at the start of last year, we've now come here for 2 anniversaries since for a much needed annual time of solitude & gratitude!! We live in Loveland & still have busy lives so grateful that we can book just one night in the off season & still be close to home just in case. We've now stayed in both an upstairs unit & also a main level unit overlooking the river. The river sounds are soothing & serene! Cozy cabin feel with electric fireplace as well as the jacuzzi tubs which are a great way to wind down & destress!! We plan to purchase a gift certificate for newlyweds in our circle for them to have a getaway as well as for our parents when they come to visit! Friendly & kind owners also! Thank you!!

Staff was very accommodating they let us have a delivery made before our arrival and kept it in the office, which was very kind. The unit was clean and well maintained, we enjoyed the working fireplace. Easy access to the park entrance. Grounds are beautiful with the river running beside the property. My only suggestion was to have better pillow selection.
We would definitely recommend staying there and hope to come back ourselves.

We love staying at Bear Paw. The staff are amazing and the rooms are always ready and clean!
It is the perfect place if you want a cozy getaway and if want to stay in or go out. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and the location is still close enough to town.

River Stone and Bear Paw Suites exceeded our expectations. We stayed in one of the 2 story open condos right on the river and it was perfect! The river is right outside the unit, you can hear the rushing water anywhere in the condo. It was so relaxing. The condo had everything we needed. We saw a few elk on the grounds during our stay. The owners live on site and were so helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend River Stone Resorts and Bear Paw Suites. We will definitely stay there on any future trips to the area.

Our place was clean and very comfortable. The condo/cabin and surroundings are meticulously cared for. We loved the river within steps from our deck. The managers also graciously loaned us a cooler to pack a lunch everyday for our daily hikes in RMNP. We loved this place!!

Beautiful property along river and close to entrance Rocky Mountain national park. Condo was fully equipped with everything you would need including washer and dryer. A huge jacuzzi tub in bedroom was a plus for sore muscles. The property management couple were very nice. Gave us a few great tips to make our stay better. We loved being so close to town and to entrance to park which each night we would go back to just inside entrance which was a few miles only and view wildlife. Moose, elk, coyotes, deer, and big horn sheep. It was peaceful and quiet there. Unit was very clean. We stayed in the first floor which is best to just walk out to sitting area by river or just sit on patio.. the gas grill was an added bonus.

My husband and I have been repeat visitors to Bear Paw Suites for 13 years! We love visiting Estes Park and staying at Bear Paw Suites. For us, it's a perfect escape from the craziness of everyday life and a chance to take in the wildlife and magnificent beauty that is Estes Park! Bear Paw Suites are in a beautiful location along Fall River, a very peaceful and relaxing location. The suites are well maintained and equipped with everything you need for a perfect home away from home! The hosts, Brian and Cyndi are absolutely awesome and have done an exceptional job managing Bear Paw Resorts!

Ours was a duplex style, connected to one other unit. But they are well made, there's a dividing wall between the decks, and we never heard any noise from the unit next to us.

The interior design of the Bear Paw units are a higher quality of furnishings and much higher quality in the fabrics used.. The layout looks as if it is done by an expert degreed interior designer which I am. My firm is located in Dallas, Texas. For an Estes Park, Colorado cabin rental unit I would give the interior furnishings and layout a B+ The other units are for larger groups or 4+in a family are not as selective in sofa and over all appearance from what I observed. Some of the sofa's last Fall looked as if many children that had stayed in the Stone River units probably had been allowed to jump on the sofa had really given it major wear. This River Stone suites were are much closer to the Hwy with the creek in between Hwy and units. Not landscaped to the degree that Bear Paws were professionally landscaped on the creek.
