I will agree that the cabin we stayed in could use a deep cleaning, it appeared to be surface cleaned. It is in a residential area, but we liked that it was not in the hustle and bustle of downtown. It was an easy drive to RMNP and other parts of Estes Park. We also liked that we were able to grill and eat right outside of our cabin. Our children, enjoyed the swings in the play area. It can be loud in the mornings if you sleep with your windows open especially if you like to sleep in. The cabin served the purpose it was meant to serve for. We saved money eating out because we were able to grocery shop and cook our meals at the cabin. The bathroom was very small and could use a vent.

The cabin was amazing. Very clean and so charming. The customer service was so nice, cheerful and helpful. We booked this for our son who was traveling with his Great Dane and having a pet was not a problem . Given it was a Great Dane I expected them to balk at the idea of the dog staying , but t wasn't a problem.

These cabins as noted in other reviews are older and very rustic but they are clean and cozy and very pet friendly. They are conveniently located within walking distance of a grocery store, several restaurants and an amazing donut shop that you can watch them make the donuts. They even make "pupcakes" which our dogs loved!! The best part is they are a couple miles from the touristy area of Estes Park so you don't have to deal with the croud unless you want to and it is a short easy drive to downtown. We will definitely return!

We were not expecting such a small very rustic cabin. The bathroom was so small and outdated. It has the smallest bathroom sink we have ever seen. Anyone that is over the average size would not be comfortable in it. We feel a little bit of money put into it would greatly improve it, starting with the bathroom. Unfortunately, we did not get a comfortable nights stay.

Longs Peak, cottage # 6, was a mixed bag. The bed linens were fresh – the bed beautifully made up. The carpet looked filthy and stained to the point you didn’t want to take off your shoes. One of the wooden chairs was broken and just waiting to send someone to the floor. The sink and toilet were spotless with the exception of the black mold in the sink’s overflow. Black mold was on the bottom of the shower liner, too. And the place stunk. Does this place even rate one star?

Could be so much better! Nice location, dog friendly, but needs some attention. For what they charge per night they really need to do basic maintenance and updating. These cottages are at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and I expected more!

The Iris cabin is a very nice 2 room cabin. The only thing that could be improved is a new fireplace door, as one of the glass panels is missing. But, the fireplace was still usable and we had no issues of ash or cinders coming through the screen.
The location, though on the way to RMNP via the Beaver Meadows entrance, is very quiet the majority of the time.
Very close to shopping and places to eat.
And the views of the mountains all around were breathtaking

We had a lot of fun staying in the Bears Den cottage right near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's very close to the shops, restaurants and the main part of Estes Park. We were traveling with our dog and there were a lot of other dog owners on the property. The owner, Mark, lives on site and was a wealth of information about local hikes and scenic drives. Not fancy but convenient and clean.

While the suite was well appointed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and the price was fair, I cannot score more than adequate due to the following reasons. However, had it just been two adults and two children it would have been ok. Despite some cosmetic issue such as ripped comforters and towels and a very over powering odor as you enter the suite. The pull out was unusable, the frame was bent and the mattress was paper thin and we could feel all the springs. Way too uncomfortable for an adult. Also the mattress cover was dirty with dog hair, and the area surrounding the pull out was full of dog hair. My 70 year old Mum had to sleep on it as a couch which is thinner than a twin bed. Which was also not suitable. Some of the linen which was unfolded for the pull out had food in it, and was also stained. We were so disappointed by this. It was also quite noisy from the restaurant later on in the evening. This place would have been perfect otherwise. Stained or ripped comforters and towels should be replaced. We did love the location, the library in the suite, the well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds in teh rooms, and space. The playground was also a huge bonus. But despite these positives we would not be able to return as our group of 5 due to the pull out couch situation.

We stayed in Iris for 3 nights. The room was very clean and had everything we could need. We did not cook but it looked like there was everything someone would need to make simple meals. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. (towels could have been bigger - but I am spoiled at home) The room was exactly as advertised - rustic. We did not use the fireplace as it was not cold enough to really use it. We did enjoy the hot tub one night and that was wonderful. If we ever make it back to the area we will certainly stay there again. I will request a different cabin next time as Iris is right on the street and there was some road noise early in the morning.
