We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the motel style rooms. It is older, but clean and comfortable with a small kitchenette that was very handy to have. We liked the location on the road to Rocky Mt. National Park - we didn't have to drive through Estes Park to get there. We were there on a fall... More

The property is clean and comfortable. They have rooms, cabins on-site for medium size groups, and individual houses for larger groups in town for larger groups. The previous time we had a house and woke up one morning with a deer laying under the front deck. Close to town and the NP entrance. We have stayed there three separate times.

We have stayed at Brynwood many times and have enjoyed trying out several different cabins during our visits. Each cabin has a different theme and has always been very clean and comfortable. The location is great; close to RMNP, and downtown, but very quiet, especially the cabins on the river. We loved the sound of the river running over the... More

Pros: Good and prompt housekeeping, friendly and helpful staff, good location. Cons: Oh, those steps! We rented four cabins for a small family reunion. Of those four cabins, only one had steps into the cabin that was not horrendous. That was the Cuddle Cove. It was still difficult to get into that cabin, but not as bad as others. If... More

We recently stayed in one of the cabins on a family vacation with our pre-teen children during our recent trip to Estes Park and Rocky National Park. The cabin was clean, unique, charming and contained everything we needed for our stay. It was rustic, yet had all of the modern conveniences desired by "non-campers." The private hot tub was perfect... More

Each cabin in Brynwood is decorated with a special theme. We stayed in the Love Nest cabin by the Big Thompson River. The cabin is older and could use a little remodeling, but we liked it because it was a cabin by itself and not connected to other units like a condo or town home would be. The love nest... More

Stayed there during a hiking trip with my teenage son and his buddy. Great big room with two beds and a sleeper sofa was plenty for all of us. Amazingly hospitable owners. Gave us tons of treat hiking advice--all of it good and true. Great location away from the crowds of "downtown" EP. Will be back for sure.

We stayed in the motel part, not the cabins. The cabins seem to get very good ratings. The motel is very old and very run down. It has never been updated. Doors don't close well and windows don't stay open. It has a musty oder. We got up very early to hike and returned about 2:30. Room had not been... More

I really enjoyed this place. I stayed in one of the small cabins, which was awesome as you don't have neighbors like in the motel. It is very rustic, but you do have a large tv, microwave, and full bathroom and kitchen. Our cabin had a very small bedroom, big enough for a full bed, and the other bed is... More

We stayed in "The Den" cabin we had a screened in porch that looked over the Big Thompson River so we had a perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon break and evening unwind listening to the river rush by. This was our first trip back to Estes after 14 years, our first day we walked out of our cabin and... More
