This motel is absolutely wonderful, we stayed in the King Waterfall room and it was perfect. We sat out on our private balcony every night and fell asleep to the sounds of the waterfall. The owners are wonderful people that you can tell truly care about their guests happiness and comfort. Hoping we can plan another trip to Colorado and stay here again!!! Thanks Nicole and Cherokee for a wonderful time!!! “The Phillies”

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed in the Riverfront Waterfall King room with the balcony. We loved going to sleep with the sounds of the river outside our window. Sitting on the balcony watching the river was so relaxing and peaceful! The Gold Route shuttle stop was only a very short walking distance away so getting into town each day was very easy. The Fall River Visitor Center near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is on this Gold shuttle route so that made it easy to get information about the park and do a little shopping. Nicky's Steakhouse Restaurant was only a short walk and our dinner there was delicious. Because of the convenience of the shuttle service, including the shuttle into Rocky Mountain National Park, we left our car parked at Deer Crest the whole time we were in Estes Park. The staff at Deer Crest Resort were all very friendly and helpful. Staying there was so wonderful we hope to do it again next year.

Hello Thomas, Thank you so much for your informative 5 star review on Trip Advisor for our Deer Crest Resort on Fall River in Estes Park. We love that you mentioned the convenience of Deer Crest to the free seasonal shuttle route and also the great place to eat, just next door, Nicky's Restaurant, just a 2 min walk, all by sidewalk. (lounge, steakhouse, coffee house and outside seating right on the Fall River) We loved having you and so happy to hear you are looking to come back next year. Until then, take care and best to you. Regards, Nicole, Cherokee, Ken and staff

Wow what can I say. To start, hats off to the owners, they are awesome people. Everything from the fire pit to the chairs by the river are perfect. Make sure you grab the complementary s’mores and enjoy the best view around. The beds are very comfortable. Can’t wait to go back again. Don’t miss out.

My wife and I stayed at Deer Crest Resort during our stay in Estes Park and will definitely be returning in the future. Everything about our stay was above and beyond, which starts with the awesome, personable and hard-working owners, Cherokee and Nicole. It's easy to see the effort they put into maintaining the property and ensuring their guests have a great experience. We interacted with them on a regular basis and appreciated all they did to make our stay a fantastic one. Although hard to choose our favorite part of the property itself, we frequented the awesome patio multiple times a day. It's a perfect, serene oasis for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing by the fire pit and roasting some (free) smores in the evening. The property is located adjacent to a creek and there's a nice lawn space to sit alongside the creek and relax. The rooms are charming and well kept/clean with everything you need (toiletries, stove, dishes/silverware, toaster, cups, fridge, microwave, stove, etc.). All rooms are on or a short distance away from the Creek so you really can't go wrong picking any of the rooms. We opted for the Fireside suite so we could enjoy a cozy fire in our room. We found the location of the resort to be perfect as well and close to a RMNP entrance. It's a short drive to most things in Estes Park, including downtown, but far enough away from the crowds to enjoy some peace and quiet. There are some other awesome bonuses such as complimentary popcorn and DVDs for use. We literally can't say enough good things about this place. Stay here! You won't be disappointed. Can't imagine our stay being better anywhere else and frankly, don't care to attempt to find out. We are looking forward to our trip back.
