Without the people at Alpine, we would not have had as much fun as we did. They were extremely knowledgeable about what to do and where to hike based on our skill level. Recommendations - horseback riding, ATVs, fishing, and hikes. Rocky Mountain National Park can be intimidating if you've never been there before. Alpine provided several hikes that increased... I stayed at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn with my 8-year-old son last September and was completely happy with our stay. I was looking for a centrally located, clean but budget property; Alpine Trail was everything we needed and more. A stone's throw from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and Trail Ridge Road, the location was perfect. The room... More

We had a pleasant stay. This is an old style motel that has been kept up and is very clean with special touches like pretty folded fan towels. My only disappointment was I was told when I reserved the room we had a wonderful away from the road, 2nd floor balcony room. We didn't get that room however. We had... More

We stayed here with our two teen kids in July. It's an old style motel which took me back to my childhood. The staff is friendly and the motel is well maintained. Our room had two queen beds, a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bath was a bit small but was adequate. The pool is heated and deep --... More

Very comfortable accommodations right outside Rocky Mountain National Park. All the comforts of home plus. Great free internet. Assigned Free parking in front of each room. Air conditioning (rare in Colorado - but we used it full time, it was in the 90's). Very friendly office staff, and if you are like me & don't want to hear people walking... More

We have stayed in several different hotels and condos in the Estes Park area and this one was the nicest. Driving up to it, you can tell it was built at least 50 years ago, but, the interior of the room we stayed in had been updated and was very nice. First hotel we stayed in in a long time... More

The Inn is the closest hotel to the Rocky Mnt. National Park. It offers a pleasant host, decent rooms ( better are with balcony ( views). The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are OK with exception of middle block rooms (less comfy with small baths). Our room in upper section was clean, had AC, good size flat TV, MV, coffee maker... The front desk is the biggest negative. This hotel has always had a reputation for a friendly and helpful front desk but not any more. When I checked in, the person was very unfriendly and rude. When I was trying to look at the bill she kept covering it with her hand. I actually had to ask her to remove... More

This is our seventh year staying at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn. It is our home away from home. Every year the stay gets only better. We travel a lot and it is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in. The rooms are lovely and have a great view of the mountains in addition to being right outside... More

Estes is an expensive town in which to find lodging. The Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is a very pleasant, old fashioned motel, very conveniently located and reasonably priced. The rooms are clean, the parking is fabulous.
