We came here for my birthday and couldn’t have been happier! So peaceful and you have privacy (and a hot tub!) definitely worth the trip. I loved the staff and the location was breathtaking, not too far from town and a great price

Spent a quiet night here this past week. The unit, 210, was away from the road and overlooking the river. The deck provided a quiet retreat while we sat and watched birds and listened to the flowing river. Bed was very comfortable. Unit was clean and well equipped. The personnel

I stayed here last September for a wedding. We stayed in one of the most expensive rooms and, while it was nice, I accidentally forgot to pack my expensive blow dryer and straightener from the drawer in the bathroom. I called the hotel immediately that evening and they informed

Of course, I’m sorry the guest left her hair dryer and curling iron behind; however, as the guest stayed with us over a year ago, we can do very little investigate this. Any items left behind by guests either are sent to the address of their request via UPS or are held for three months in Lost and Found when unclaimed. We provide hair dryers to guests free of charge in the rooms or at the front desk. If this was a particularly unique/identifiable hair dryer and the guest would like to contact us, we can certainly search our inventory for a hair dryer matching the guest’s description in the event it was mixed in with our inventory. Otherwise, items would have long since been donated.

In such a wonderful location, it is a delight to find a hotel that you are pleased to see after a long day exploring. The welcome, wonderful. The room, spaceous. The location, stunning. I cannot wait until I get to go back again.

The people at the front desk were great, helpful (hair-dryer, forgot my key inside, DVD check out, and very friendly and nice - Thanks to Lance!! Room 253 is very dark and I was either a bit too cold or too hot because the loudish in-wall space heater either blasts the heat or

I’m glad to know our staff was so helpful and that you enjoyed the location, though, of course sorry to hear this room didn’t meet all expectations. The beds do stand a bit taller with pillow-top mattresses and we agree, the bear-proof dumpsters are heavy. I’ll see what we can do to limit the noise transfer in this unit. Thank you for staying with us and for reviewing the stay!

Do the rooms have hair dryers?
Many do, though you can always check one out at the front desk at no charge.

I dont know about the exact room in question, however the hot tub rooms we seen were covered on the sides by wood fencing, the fronts facing the river and woods were left open though so nothing would be in your view of the scenery.

Rooms 295 296 and 297 don't have their own grill on patio..unless it's warm weather, the available grills for those rooms are far enough away from the rooms out in the open parking lot, that it's not likely you'd use them in anything besides warm weather...if there's sheltered ones for cold or rainy stays, I didn't see them..when it's warm, their location seems fine...unfortunately it was way too cold during our recent stay to be out in the open parking lot grilling without being able to step inside at all while food cooks, so no grilling for us while there...if a grill is important to you, make sure to ask, because I don't know if those 3 rooms are the only ones without their own private grill..
