Enjoy the serenity of the Rocky Mountains with breathtaking views from each of our stand alone cabins, or fully equipped suites. All our units come with kitchens, and the newly renovated and well maintained cabins and suites also have wood burning fireplaces, private patios with BBQ for that summer's eve cookout, jetted bath tubs with access by reservation to our private hot tub. Adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park (1/2 Mile to US 34-Fall River Entrance) and just a 5 minute drive to the quaint village of Estes Park, McGregor boasts some of the most spectacular views in the area. Enjoy frequent visits from our resident wildlife that include large bull elk, mule deer, foxes, coyotes, and the Rocky Mountain big horn sheep. A myriad of birds frequent our bird feeders strategically placed (and filled daily) at each cabin so you never have to leave the comfort of your "home" to observe these winged and furry critters. Enjoy a warm cup of tea/coffee or spiced cider (seasonal) in our inviting lobby while visiting with our friendly staff about your day hikes and adventures in the surrounding area. Fresh baked chocolate cookies will welcome you every afternoon, a wide selection of reading materials, books and magazines, games and puzzles are free for your perusing while here at McGregor. Open Year-Round, with seasonal rates, and discounts for extended stays. Weekly rates available. Dogs are allowed in select cabins for a charge. Late check outs available upon request for additional fee. WI-FI High speed internet FREE and available throughout the property. McGregor does a really amazing job of straddling the line between rustic and charming without being pretentious. Sitting just three minutes from the Fall River gates to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, McGregor is a classic mid-century lodge, built in the 50's and lovingly maintained. The views from almost every cabin are spectacular. The grounds are landscaped and well-kept. It's the kind of place you hope they continue to maintain and not 'remodel' all the charm out of. The innkeeper, Lacey, is warm, welcoming, and helpful. She puts out fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and her pup, Loki, will steal your heart. There is no restaurant, but there's a nice clubhouse, plenty of common areas with grills/seating. The location is only ten minutes from Estes Park -- far enough to feel remote, but close enough for easy supply runs.

Was able to get the Heather cottage on fairly short notice for a four-night getaway over July 4 weekend. We loved the cabin - it had everything we wanted...a porch where we could drink our coffee in the mornings and watch the birds at the feeder, a wood-burning fireplace for the cool evenings, an immaculate kitchen and bathroom, and the ideal location, just a few minutes to the park entrance or into town. Lacey at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Can't wait to come back!!

The lodge is very close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We loved being able to hop in the car and be right there in a few minutes. Also, great proximity with a free shuttle to get into Estes Park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cabin was comfortable and clean with a good shower. Kids loved having a fireplace in the room.

We came to Colorado for a much needed getaway and ended up booking a place in Blackhawk Colorado to stay. Needless to say we didn’t like it and weren’t happy stuck in a hotel room. We started looking on our phones for a cabin or cottage to stay. McGregor came up and they happened to have the Columbine cottage available on short notice. We packed up in Blackhawk and headed to Estes Park. Best decision ever! The cabin was wonderful, very clean and peaceful. Warm inviting employees and awesome grounds. This was the true Colorado experience we were looking for. We will defiantly return! Thanks McGregor for an amazing time!

My husband and I stayed at McGregor Mountain Lodge years ago - and we really enjoyed coming back to Estes and having the Lodge - and our cabin - be our comfortable headquarters for 3 days in the middle of a longer trip. A lovely spot.
