We recently stayed at this resort for 8 days . We had a lake / mountain view room on the first floor. Our room was clean & comfy. We had a 2 room suite which made it nice as we needed the space. We had family visit us so it was nice to have that added space for visitors. They have a small workout room, fine for what I needed to do. They also have a game room with some fun games to play!! The front desk staff were awesome!! I had spoken to Jonathon on the phone prior to our visit and he was always so nice and professional. I got to meet Jonathon and he once again was friendly , knowledgeable, & professional!! I had an issue ( not Resort related ) that needed the front desk staffs patience and they most certainly were !! Anastasia & Alex were also so nice!! I am sorry I missed some names at the front desk but know they all did a good job in my book !!

We stopped in last minute and the manager Jonathan was able to accommodate us. The room and place were terrific. Nice Rooms and great setting. Restaurant on site was very good for breakfast-try trout and eggs and for dinner have the trout too.

I wouldn't recommend the overpriced stay here. It is a nice location, the room is average, uncomfortable bed, dirty sofa, the balcony work beautiful view was full of cobwebs as was the screen. The sliding screen door to the balcony needed to be wrestled to open..a bit of WD40 would have bern nice. My birthday dinner at the Dunraven Inn at it's new location in the resort was average resort restaurant food not the special occasion dining it was before the move to the motel. Not apt to stay there again considering the price and cleanliness or lack thereof. Sorry it couldn't have been a better experience.

Everything about this hotel was topnotch from start to finish. The front desk was helpful, friendly and polite. The room was a really good size and we had a great view of the lake. However; the very best thing about this hotel is the Dunraven restaurant. We ate here 3 times and all 3 times the service was fabulous and the food amazing. Our daughter has Celiac and they went above and beyond ensuring she had excellent meals. The only thing I would recommend is that they try to save some reservations for hotel guests, as they were completely booked every night we stayed..but we happily sat out on the deck overlooking the lake, which was first come/first served. If you are going to the Rockies...we cannot recommend this hotel enough! It was our favorite of all the places we stayed in a two week vacation (Glacier, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole). If we ever head back this way we would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed one night (7/7/21) at the Estes Part Resort. We booked the patio / lakeview ground floor room and the views from our patio were stunning! You can see the beautiful lake and mountains. Although we only stayed for one night, we had horrible experience at the Dunraven restaurant located inside the resort. The day we checked out, we headed there for breakfast because we had a white water rafting tickets and had to drive to Idaho Springs. The older hostess lady greeted us and sat the 4 of us at a booth. After that, it just went down hill. None of the servers even acknowledged that we were even sitting there. It's like we were invisible. Others that were sat outside were served right away. We sat there 10 mins with no acknowledgement, my two younger kids were starving so my husband went to the older hostess lady up front to tell her that we have not been waited on. She went into the kitchen and not sure if she told anyone because she never came back to our table. We waited another 5 mins and then we walked out. I made sure to tell the older hostess lady that I was pissed and they will not get a very good review. Pros - views are spectacular Cons - would NOT have breakfast at Dunraven. We actually found an amazing restaurant to have breakfast called Mountain Home Cafe down the block from the resort. They were so busy but our server was so attentive and our food came out fast! Highly recommend to have breakfast there!
