We enjoyed 5 days in August and returned for 5 days in the fall. The weather was perfect and nature provided us a show that we’ll never forget. The elk were in full swing of the rut season. The meadows in RMNP were the place to be in the early evening if you enjoy watching animals. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck of our cabin watching for elk and listening to the river every morning and evening. We were not disappointed! Pictures of the bull and his harem that walked through the meadow behind our cabin and crossed the river are attached. There are very few places we have ever visited twice in a single year, but Paradise on the River merits being on that list! The cabins are perfect; the grounds are immaculate; and the setting would be almost impossible to match. We will be back soon, too!…
Only had one night available for me but glad I took it. Very close to RMNP. Immaculately maintained older park, friendly hosts even helped me park my RV. Had a deck right on the river next to my RV. Would absolutely come back for a longer stay and reserve further in advance.
We had a fantastic 3 nights in Antlers pointe and it was well worth the wait...booked in 2019 but didn`t actually get there until 2022! The location and view is stunning! Paradise on the River is beautifully kept and maintained as a site and the cabin itself had everything you could want or need including a bugling elk crossing the river in the evening! Everybody was so friendly and helpful! Steak purchased at the local market was fantastic on the BBQ provided!
This was my 3rd stay at Paradise. It never disappoints. I’d love to keep Antlers Pointe cabin as my little secret, but that would be unfair to all of you. Perfect, cozy, quiet, peaceful, special, unique view. We also spent a night in River Bend. The staff made it super easy to switch from one cabin to the next (the 2 cabins are right next to each other).
We planned a last minute vacation and was able to get 2 nights (only nights they had available in the cabins with pets) in a cabin on the river which is awesome. We stayed in the cabin next door last year and loved them both. To continue our stay a few days longer, we moved to a RV. That was very nice also. enjoyed the fireplace and big screen TV. Our nights in the cabin, we were entertained with watching a very large Elk crossing the river near our deck. We will always encourage people to come to Paradise on the River. Great accommodations, very clean and very friendly people. The river view just puts a crowning jewel on the stay. We will always return to our home at Paradise on the River!!
This was the quietest and most relaxing place we stayed for 3 nights on our two week vacation. Our dogs loved the gated back patio so they were free to roam and not leashed while we were relaxing. Also had very clean washeteria, nice washers and dryers that you didnt have to keep adding money to get clothes dried. Enjoyed our stay in the dog friendly cabin.
This was my third stay at Paradise on the River, The Cabins & Staff are Amazing and a Blessing in so many ways! The views are Wonderful and the Cabins are very nice and well kept! I would and have suggested Paradise on the River to Family, Friends and those who I run into about coming to Stay in Estes Park!
If you are looking for some space and privacy don't go here! They only have 6 rv sites, one of them under construction. It was a very tight spot to get our rig in and not much room to park a car. On a positive note the location was good, close to town and close to the entrance to RMNP.
Third time and its still wonderful! Our first 2 stays were in cabins with our kids. This time it was two of us and our small dog. Consistently a wonderful experience. Clean, comfortable cabins, quiet and beautiful grounds, and a great location. We enjoy cooking some of our own meals and sitting on the deck eating and watching the river and wildlife. Also enjoy being out of Estes proper yet so close to it also. Can't wait to return again!
Very well kept campground with beautiful flowers. The campsite sits right on the river. Our balcony was right by the river. Cabin was lovely and comfortable for 3 adults and a 5 wk old baby. Too tight of campground for what we had in mind though. Your neighbor is literally a few feet from you. They did a good job of making it private though. Online pics make it seem like you have more access to the River than you do. Was really wanting to explore along the River…..but you can’t get to it without trespassing. Parking is bad. You should drive your Smart Fortwo electric car for sure! Brian was very helpful in finding parking for our dually pickup. Was wonderful to hear the elk bugling in the early morning!!
