My wife and I stayed in the Hummingbird cabin the first week of August. Overall the cabin, the park it is in, the location of the park, and the folks that run it were great and we would definitely stay there again. The Cabin was very nice. It is only 400ish sqft, so it is similar to staying in a RV with everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable. The best part was sitting next to the propane fire ring on the deck overlooking the river. I even saw a mother bear and 2 cubs across the river early one morning. The Paradise on the River Park was a little smaller than I was imagining, but that actually makes it quite nice and quiet. The location of the park was great, especially if you are visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. It was also very convenient to several restaurants and a grocery store without having to go into the crowded Estes Park. Everyone who works at Paradise was very polite and a pleasure to work with. Overall, this place was great!…
This place is great! It was our first time staying, and we will definitely be back! Our Brookside cabin was very clean and the views and setting were just beautiful! The managers were kind and helpful. It is easy to find and conveniently close to downtown and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Estes Park is a beautiful destination and Paradise on the River resort has it all! The location on the Big Thompson River near RMNP, with quiet wildlife vistas, beautiful landscaping and first class Cabins & RV accommodations calls us back year after year. As beautiful as the property is, it's the owners and staff that makes it special. Thanks to Cathy, Rod, Jane, Bill, Helen, Brian, Steffanie and Michelle for exceeding our expectations and making our get away so enjoyable. Warren, Debbie & Henry.
We have an RV and stayed at Paradise on the River for 9 nights. The place is beautiful and right on the river with a nice deck. The place is small and tight, but so nice. They had the most beautiful flowers everywhere. The owners and workers were so friendly. Brian helped us back into our spot and gave us lots of pointers on where to go and what to see. He was great. The restrooms were also clean and smelled good with air freshener, liquid soap and hand sanitizer. Loved this place.
While my trip with my mother and daughter to Estes was enjoyable because of the things we did during the day, I wasn’t pleased with renting an rv for the price. If we had a spot on the river I think that would have changed things but there wasn’t but one small area to sit next to it if you rent something off the river. I paid an additional $10 a night for my daughter and her and I shared the pullout in the rv which shouldn’t be considered a bed. Even my daughters feet hung off the bed and it was very uncomfortable. The accommodations aside from that were nice, I just don’t believe it was worth the price. Will find something more suitable next time. Thanks.
