I am not a picky traveler. It doesn't take much to keep me happy, especially when the point of my visit is to get out and see the city or be in nature. Seems to me like some previous reviewers should really stick to hotels. My expectations were to have a clean, comfortable room, and a good breakfast. The bed... More

If you are looking for a down to earth Colorado lodging experience in close proximity to Estes Park, but away from the crowd, stay here. The B&B owners are warm and friendly, the rooms are perfect. This is a great alternative to the chain hotels, especially if you want a superb breakfast and an opportunity to hike right on the... More

We came for 7 nights stayed in Whispering Pines it was super CLEAN and huge! We hiked the property at Kokopelli and got the best pictures, saw elk, deer, and so many flowers and birds. The towels in the closet were awesome for us to just grab as we needed them. The hot tub is right out in the stars... More

The words and pictures on the website for this inn in Estes Park will lead you to set high expectations. Don't be led astray. Poorly-maintained both inside and outside. Weeds, broken items left laying around, deteriorating woods on stairways, and the room...well...we had a confirmed reservation for the Dream Catcher Room (depending upon availability, you are able to select your... These people arrived upset and angry who knows at what they bothered other guests. We went way out of the way for these people they were just angry at life I think. I told them if they would not stop being ugly we would call the police. We told them to leave early canceling the reservation. I didn't even want... More

I always try and write a completely honest review to help other travelers chose wisely. I 100% agree with the other review titled "Disappointed" by rmtraveler. We stay in a lot of B&B's as we like the unique experience, but this was more a room in someone's house. Some of the reviews mentioned home baked snacks in the afternoon and... More

Unfortunately, we were really disappointed by our stay. If all you're looking for is a place to sleep, this place is fine. If you're looking for a quite escape in the mountains and a true bed and breakfast experience, this is not the place. I wish I had read all the reviews. The first impression pulling up to the inn... Too many automated emails with no action. The inside is nice and breakfast is good but the outside is pretty rough and it is very noisy (right near the road). The outside needs weeded, mowed, and all the junk picked up so people can enjoy the outdoor patio a little. This place is 6.7 miles from downtown Estes Park which... More

Our first stay at this very pleasant bnb run by three of the best hosts we have come across in our many adventures around the U.S. and U.K. Great room; excellent breakfasts; and interesting, informative, and uplifting conversation. Rare to find hosts who combine ethics, commitment, and dedication to hospitality.

Kokopelli Inn has what you want in a B&B: very welcoming owners, beautiful spacious room, super comfy bed, great view, close enough to town but away from the hustle and bustle, absolutely delicious and very filling breakfasts, homemade bread and fruit for afternoon snack, nice little touches like books to read, DVDs to watch in your room, coffee/tea service in... We had our Valentines celebration there. While it was towards the end of the winter, the room was warm, clean and comfortable. We had a great breakfast with the new owners who are very charming people.

ABOUT THE INN Come and see for yourself why guests have called us the "Best B&B in the West!".… Trip Advisor gives us 5 STARS. Kokopelli Inn is a Mountain Inn with a Southwestern theme, specially designed and built to offer the finest in accommodations. Each room is unique; all are private, quiet and home-like cozy. After a full day of sightseeing or adventures, come and relax in our private outdoor hot tub nestled at the back of Roosevelt National Forest. Awaken in the morning to the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and just-out-of-the-oven goodies, and as you wrap yourself in one of our robes, you may catch a glimpse of the sunrise casting a rosy glow on the mountain peaks. After breakfast you can explore our 20 wooded acres of wildflower-adorned hillsides, picnicking/climbing on our huge rocks and trails while you contemplate the stunning views, or get on your bike and hit the dirt or road for a beautiful ride, or go explore RMNP/Estes Park. The Inn borders Roosevelt National Forest and has spectacular views to Rocky Mountain National Park & Longs Peak. We are building a training studio with a bunkhouse for training camps. This is the ninth year of the Kokopelli Inn, our first year of celebrating love, nature, and activities with our guests. Time does seem to stand still at the Kokopelli Inn, high in the mountains of Colorado. ... more   less
