had a reservation, sister in law passed. I cancelled, they charged me and then booked and charged another patron for the room. I could have just been a no show and not given them the opportunity to re-book. failed to respond to my inquiry after...More
What a quaint, rustic inn. About 100 years old, it is still in the style of the early 1900s. The beds were super comfortable, and the room charming. It felt different having to share bathrooms and showers, but again, as it was 100 years ago....More
One of my favorite places, the beds are not large, the bathroom is down the hall but oh the view and the ambiance. This is where I come back to again and again. You have to not be fussy about privacy (think about who you...More

I overheard them telling someone that they prefer reservations so that they can plan accordingly. They have a large dining area but the lodging and those overnight residents create the major workload for the crew of young staff. Breakfast is included if you stay overnight and the day I was there it was very busy. I think lunch or dinner is not as crowded. If you are in the area and want to have a meal there I would recommend a reservation to be safe.
