We cramped at campsite 35 and it was great. We had plenty of room for our pop-up and a tent. It was big and private. Some of the campsites were crowded together but not this one. It was close to the bathroom but not on top of it. I think it was the best in the park a great time...

This rating of five is for our spot - site 35 - which is probably the best in the entire park as far as spaciousness and privacy. The other sites look like they are pretty packed in there. Ours had enough room for a pop up as well as a tent. Watch out for the park rangers here....they will lie...

Stayed here 2 nights and had an awesome view of the mountains. The vault toilets were very clean, and though there are no showers they have stalls for solar showers. We bought one for $10 and it worked great. There is no roof over the stalls, but that made it less damp and slimy than a lot of public showers....

We didnt stay in Moraine Park camp ground but attended several tours including a guided night tour of the stars, where park rangers taught how to find constellations and told stories from around the world about how the stars and moon got in to the sky. Over all it was entertaining and we actually learned something on vacation. While it...

Spent 4 nights at Moraine Campground with an excellent campsite. We attended one ranger talk there. The lack of a shower room was the only drawback. With the senior park pass, sites cost just $13 per night. Rode the free shuttle to Bear Lake and added a 6-mile hiking loop including Alberta Falls. Drove Ridge Road to the tundra near...

A great campground that is close to Estes Park and close to RMNP. Nearly every spot looked like it would be great. The campground was full of wildlife and everyone was super helpful. Elk and deer were common visitors!

We stayed in the D-loop with only tents. Beautiful views, lots of shade, ok bathrooms for a campsite, and nice walking trails. We wish we could have stayed here longer because they had great campsites.

We had a walk-in site (#93) that was about 150 feet from the road up a pretty steep hill, which was kind of a pain for setting up camp, but totally worth it when we had no neighbors behind us and an elk ambling through our camp. Keep an eye on the toilet paper. . . They didn’t always keep...

We loved this campground! Not much privacy (no bushes) but plenty of space between sites. There is a lot of wildlife to be seen nearby. We had deer coming for dinner every nights to eat the grass and take naps on our campsite. The camp hosts are wonderfull and so nice. The location is great too.

We were fortunate to snag a last-minute site over the 4th of July weekend, and we got a prime spot on the northern most edge of the A loop. It wasn't secluded by any means, but those around us were respectful, and it wasn't too noisy because of our location. We were able to get more firewood, and it was...
