We loved Moraine Park Campground because of its proximity to many trailheads. We walked the Cub Lake Trail (saw lots of elk) and the Fern Lake Trail. Our campsite was fairly private (in D Loop, with no generators, tents only).

Beautiful campground with amazing views. It was nice to be able to have a fire. They sell firewood right on site. Bears were in the campground at least one of our 5 nights. Be sure to leave food in car to avoid problems. We were only able to book 5 nights so we had to stay at a campground outside... More

The campsites are very close to each other with little privacy. Conversations can be heard from several campsites away. Noise rules aren't enforced by staff. People slamming bear boxes at 11 pm, campers getting in their diesel trucks and coming and going, car alarms going off at 11 pm and 6 am. Just a terrible camping experience. They have flush... More

Scored one night camping at Morraine park over Memorial Day weekend! Love this camp spot because its proximity to shuttle, trails and the wildlife. You can get a fresh and early start to many great hikes right from your campsite.

This is my favorite campground in the park and the view here is absolutely amazing. There are almost always animals in the prairie so have binoculars handy. The sites are plenty big and many have some privacy in the trees. Book early!

One of our favorite spots to camp- gorgeous views everywhere you go, tons of wildlife yet only 10 minutes to Estes Park if you forgot something! (we forgot lunch meat and a jacket.) Can't wait to go back- some of the sites are a little rocky but very well laid out with a fire pit, picnic table and nice tent... More

This campsite was amazing! Great view of Longs Peak and the meadow bellow the campground. You will wake up every morning to the elk calling each other. Many great hiking trails very close. Lots of elk and massive deer in the area.

Camped two nights in an unpowered site. Clean and reasonable camp site, price is good and location is the same. Site not feel overcrowded or unsafe, toilet and washroom facilities were adequate. Nothing really to write home about, nothing really to say was bad.

Lovely sites that spaced far apart. Wildlife is wandering through! Hummingbirds were plentiful. Great view of mountains. Staff is very good. The man selling ice cream and firewood has wonderful stories to share. No showers is a bummer. By the time sun shower warms, it's too cold to stand in the outdoor stall!

This was the first campground my wife and I stayed at on a two week road trip from North Carolina to California and one of the nicest around! We had sight 117 (after asking for a more secluded/private site.) You could still see two other sites but still had a nice private space set back. There is also a nice... More
