This campground is in Rocky Mountain National Park and each campsite is big enough for 5 people or more, depending on how you arrange your tents. There is a tent pad that is large enough to set up two 3 person-tents. The scenery around is very pretty and peaceful. The only downside of this campground is the shower because there... More

Very friendly, informative and patient Rangers. We got D-149 for three nights. However on the third night we decided to take our time driving on Trail Ridge Road to camp on the West side (at Timber Creek). I wasn't expecting it, but I got a refund for the night I didn't stay there. It's one of the few sites that... More

We were headed to California and camped here for one night, beautiful campground, nice flush toilets, and bear boxes. The firewood and ice is reasonably priced and the campsites are nice and spaced apart. We will def go again but pack warmer clothes.

This is a campground in Rocky Mountain National Park. It is excellent and the views and setting is amazing. The campground for tent camping does not have electricity or running water, but there is vault toilets and central water for drinking.

We were in site A109 and it had lots of space, and a great view of the mountains. What a pretty spot. The campsite generally had a great feel, with sites spaced out generously and lots of 'walk to' sites meaning your car is about 100 or so metres away and you feel like you are out in the wilderness.... Best campgrounds in RNP! great views with lots of space between sites. Most every site had a tent pad, fire ring, table & has parking. Tent sites are located in some unique areas away from others, many with great views & have lots of bear boxes to use for free! Loops B, C, D have views of the mountain range... More

We spent two nights here in July 2016. Our sight was in the D loop, very large with a large tent pad. Bathrooms were close by, but with open space around the sites, never felt crowded. This was our last stop on a 22 day road trip, and I had not researched much, so I was surprised to find there... More

I lucked out and got the last campsite of the summer and boy, did I get lucky! Someone must have had to cancel because our site in loop C faced the expansive meadows and mountains, had shade and was close to the bathroom. We moved the picnic table to make room for our tent and had plenty of room. We... More

First time there. I loved this campground, I loved my site. Deer walked through camp everyday. The place is huge yet you really don't hear or see many folks. Trees, hills and rocks all around. Only thing I thought a bit odd is they have wood and ice available from 5:30-8pm nightly only. But that is no biggy if you... More

We stayed here for 3 nights last month in a motorhome and loved it. Very clean bathrooms (with electrical outlets if you need to charge a phone or camera) and a large sink for watching dishes. We loved the ranger programs at night and the kids got a kick out of the deer walking through our site. The shuttle was... More
