The YMCA of the Rockies is located just minutes from both the Rocky Mountain National Park and the resort town of Estes Park, Colorado. It is a well established resort, offering guests lodging in cabin or hotel settings. The cabin sizes range from a rustic one bedroom with small kitchen to upscale multiple bedrooms with satellite television, and a full... More

I've stayed at the lodge this time and it's not really what I was expecting. The room was too dark and not that comfortable. The price was a little high compare to other better equipped places. Besides that everything is amazing. The views are breathtaking. The service was great and there's an awesome arts and crafts center. The staff at... More

The views are great. Looking for a TV, Hair Dryer or Shampoo in your room? You will not find it here. At least they have wi-fi but it is at DSL speed (0.5 Mbps). There is a breakfast though which is good. Cafeteria style with real eggs, hash browns, and fruit. You might want to go a little more upscale... More

The Estes Park YMCA Is a great and peaceful place to spend several days. The cabins are luxurious and quiet. They have full kitchens and comfortable furniture. You can see a lot of wild life. The only downside is the onsite dining is just plain awful. The food tastes like it was prepared be students. The staff is super nice... More

We loved staying at the YMCA! The grounds are beautiful and spacious. You really do feel like the Rockies are yours to enjoy as you stay there. We had a cabin - Tejas -- that was clean and well stocked. We cooked breakfast each morning, packed up sandwiches and ate dinner at the Y. We really enjoyed the design center... More

Multiple options for rooms or individual cabins based on size of party. We came up for birthday celebration with over 100 guests. Beautiful panoramic views, clean, and honors the mountain lodge/cabin feel. Great place for larger parties and family reunions

Have stayed here probably over a dozen times and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay near the Rocky Mountain National Park. There is a lot of things to do both on and off the property. I would also recommend staying in a cabin.

We took the 2 hour trail ride. The horses were well trained. The guide makes extra effort to match horses to riders. The scenery was gorgeous. The trail guide Alexis was very informative, friendly and professional. We would highly recommend this activity. This was our 2nd time taking this tour and each time we saw lots of wildlife.

I recommend staying in the lodges. You get free breakfasts, and it allows greater flexibility for visiting friends and family to book there own rooms. The Y is a great vacation away from it all, with lots of activities and something for everyone.
