I can describe this place in one word, WOW! It was our first time staying here. We were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary and had booked a room in one of the lodges as we were only staying one night. When we arrived we were told the lodge rooms were overbooked so we were given a two bedroom cabin (Pinecone)... More

OK, I never thought I would say this, but I stayed at the YMCA!! Before you think this is a hotel, or a resort, think again. This place is geared towards being an affordable place for families to vacation near the rocky mountain national park. They have a few options, several cabin's, or lodges. Because we booked to late, we... More

The property is gorgeous , everywhere you look it's like a painting!! We stayed in the aloha cabin and loved it! There is a winery down the road that sells blackberry wine it's delicious . The location is close to shopping, restaurants but far enough away for silence. We will def go and stay there again!

Forty-one of us spent a week in the beautiful YMCA of the Rockies, a reunion we began planning 18 months ago, to a place none of us had ever visited. It's a scary thing to plan for that many people (from California, Wisconsin, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Massachusetts) who have the expectation that their reunion will go well. We've held a... More

Sadly, I was expecting decent food and drink. Food was barely edible. Coffee was terrible in the "cafeteria" and unavailable in room. Long lines at many meals. HOT plates and bowls, so if your lettuce wasn't wilted on the serving line, it was before you got to your table. And. if you put cheese on that salad, it was melted... More

Stayed here several times and it always is what it was meant to be. The rooms and cabins are quite comfortable and very clean. Prices are great for the area. They are not luxury accommodations, but that is not an option in Estes. The rooms and cabins are a nice escape after a day of activities in the area. Love... More

We always try to make it a family tradition to stay in the cabins at Estes Park at least twice a year. Booking is extremely simple and the people are very courteous and helpful. We have 2 cabins that we always take turns renting. Although those are our favorite, we know that if those cabins are already booked we would... More

We visited for a family reunion, which fits in the facility's wheelhouse. The entire facility seems to set up for family and organization visits, and my impressions are filtered through this emphasis. For example, meals - breakfast and supper - are served cafeteria style. The food is rather average, until you consider that they're cooking for 200 - 300 people;... More

This isn't like any other YMCA I've ever seen and I've been to several YMCA grounds. This is a YMCA resort. It had that that feel of the resort feature in Dirty Dancing. So many activities for groups. This is a Y in the Rockies. Not a luxury resort. There is no AC in the rooms like most places in... More

I was part of a church choir group of 70 people here for four days. This is an amazing place for a larger group. We enjoyed hiking: Bible Point and Sprague Lake were both beautiful and moderate hikes for people in shape. The hikes from the camp are very special. Some of our group went horseback riding one of the... More
