Very nice campground near (among) the redwoods. We rented a two room cabin, which was reasonably priced and very comfortable. There were literally giant redwoods right outside the door. As camping goes, it really doesn't get more comfortable than this, and the location was really special.

We stayed in this campground 3 nights. It was a very nice campground with gravel sites, and part of it had large redwoods in it. It had very nice restrooms, and full hookups. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park was very close, and the California beach and Oregon beaches were within a short driving distance.... More

Beautiful campground, clean, quiet, friendly peaceful! Camping under Redwoods! They are so big ! Easy to find! Have patio with swing and table. Have met many nice campers. Call head in summer. Busy. You won't regret it!

We stayed here for 3 nights on our recent cross country adventure and loved every minute of it ! We rented one of their cabins and the setting was to die for ! Absolutely gorgeous ! The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on local sights to see through the day. I can't hardly say enough good things,... More

Spent several days here while exploring Redwood National Forest. It is a nice, clean KOA with an amenable staff. It is centrally located to explore both the forest as well as the ocean. No real issues other than the WiFi is substandard and certain RV spots are slightly un-level. Would certainly recommend this site over those closer to the ocean... More

We didn't realize that it was a 20 minute drive to the redwoods, but it wasn't a problem for us. The staff are very kind and helpful. They have even put together self guided tour information to get the best experience. They offer an all you can eat pancake breakfast for $3.50 per person on Tuesday's , thursdays, saturdays and... We only camped for one night passing threw but we loved the redwood forest. We had a tent site right in the forest and it was excellent. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They had some bikes for rent and some animals up front for viewing. The bathrooms all seemed very clean also. I would defiantly stay here again next time... More

We loved this place! Very clean and well run with a well stocked store. Our Kabin was right in the redwoods. We intended to check in and then head out for dinner but we couldn't bear to leave. We ended up buying hot dogs and fire wood at the store and had a great dinner right in front of our... More

We brought our camper here but let our teenage sons pitch a tent in the tent area, which is a must! Unbelievable beauty back there - looks like dinosaur territory!! One of the few areas where it is better to be tent camping than staying in a camper/RV!

Beautiful area with shaded trees and open camp sites. Your neighbors aren't close and you have privacy! Multiple bathrooms make the accommodations even better, all showers worked and all bathroom stalls were well stocked, maintained and cleaned. $3.50 all you can eat pancakes too! Family friendly play area and open field to run or start a game. Pigmy goats to... More
