On a trip up the coast we stayed for one night to break up the hotels. Cute, clean cabin surrounded by redwood tree and huge stumps. We paid extra for sleeping bags and pillows, 15 dollars per person, since we didn't have anything with us. Unfortunately, we didn't have towels either, so we couldn't get showers. The bathroom did have... More

We love coming here and so do our kids. It's always clean and relaxing. We weren't able to get our usual spot, but one just as awesome was offered and we might actually love this one more! We love that pets are always welcome and that there is a nice area for them to do their business.

Assigned a tent site "in the forest," but it was on the edge next to the dog park field and playground. So, we were disappointed since we booked so far ahead. Bathrooms were clean. Unless you are tenting, all RV sites appear to be in open, ugly space (like a trailer park feeling). Laundry always busy with a wait (unless... More

Loved this campground. It had large enough sites for big rigs to open slides, park a vehicle and still use the picnic table and campfire ring. You don't feel like you're camping in a parking lot. It's one of the few places that allowed campfires. The office is very helpful with tourism info, and even sends quite a list to... More

Stopped here on our way home from California driving up the coast. This campground is directly off the highway which is awesome so it was easy getting in and out of the place without losing time. But the sites are far enough away where the highway traffic wasn't able to be heard from my campsite. We were getting in late... More

I made a very last minute decision to go camping on Memorial Day weekend near Redwoods National and State Parks. Naturally, all of the state park campgrounds were full. However, this KOA had a few non-electric tent sites available, so I booked. I had never been to a KOA, so I didn't know exactly what to expect. I was pleasantly... More

This time I wish I was a tent camper! Whoever owns this place has a slice of heaven, the forest is absolutely on this property! Very clean, nice place. We only stopped over for one night but I could have wandered around the redwoods for day!

First of all, the staff was so helpful and the groundskeepers were very friendly as well. We stayed for 3 nights and I'm so glad we did! This campground is well kept and clean and organized. The dog/exercise park was well kept and clean; the dogs enjoyed it immensely! The laundry room was clean and the washers and dryers worked!... More

We stopped here for 1 night and stayed for 3. Such a beautiful, clean and fun place to stay. Gorgeous walking paths and peaceful surroundings. Awesome dog park and there's even a playground for kids! They have bike rentals, too!

This KOA has a prime spot among the Redwoods. The sites are large and have a private feel to them, cabins spaced apart nicely and the forest growth lends to the secluded feel. The roads branch off into the trees and it's easy to get lost. We arrived after dark and struggled to find our campsite, assistance would have been... More
