Came in to get a room. We were Placed on bottom level at the end where there was a old broken down van in front of our room. And a bag of trash under stairwell to the side of us like a homeless person was living there. Room smelled of old cigarettes. Probably from the old popcorn ceiling .The beds were dirty at the bottom. Made us Leary of even using the thick blankets that were the bed spread. We Went to get some air moving ...., NO A/C unit -just an old nob on the wall for the heat I guess. No way to have any air circulation. I called desk , she said I could go and get a box fan from the office. The room is old and dated carpet was old and torn. Big room with micro and fridge and coffee maker. Would not recommend a stay here.

Hi Lizzy, We're sorry to know that you felt we deserved a one-star rating. We work hard to provide an excellent stay for all our guests and we apologize if you felt we didn't live up to that expectation for you. We're sorry that the AC unit wasn't working when you visited are having our maintenance team inspect it. Being a coastal town, with the temperatures dipping low most days, we find most people don't want to turn on the AC. We do hope you'll give us another try sometime, we wish you the best.

Room was to be non smoking but it wasn't, the pillows even smelled like cigarettes. Bed was okey other then the blanket was torn. On the positive side the bathroom was nice it look like it was newly redone.

HI, Maps684050.... Gosh, if there is ever a problem with your room; be it, pillows, towels, soap, personal amenities, a quick phone call to our front desk, manned, 24-hours a day, will allow us to show you how much we appreciate your business and are dedicated to your comfort and satisfaction. We regret we were not so informed of your issue. If any guest smokes in a non-smoking room, they are levied a $250 fine by hotel staff so that we can strip the room, including draperies, bed-toppers and have the carpets cleaned as well as taking the room offline for 24 hours to Ozone the space. If you could contact us about the day and date of your stay, including the name under which your room was booked, we would be most appreciative. We've had no other complaints such as yours, so we want to ensure the next guest that stays in your previous room has a stellar guest experience. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Nothing fancy, but the location was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean and the people working there were really nice. We were fortunate that there was a restaurant right next door so we could go there for our meals. The room is nothing fancy about this place but it had a good price for a clean stay.

Hey this is our second stay and we were not disappointed. This place is great for a budget stay. $129.00 for two nights. Clean rooms that smell great. We travel with our dogs and here we don't pay extra for them. The water pressure in the shower is the best I have found anyplace. Clean comfortable king size bed and good pillows to. It was a little warm but they had a fan we used. Friendly Guest service, polite and willing to go that extra mile.I highly recommend this location our room was in the back so we heard no road noise. And a great plus it is within walking distance to the harbor.
