EconoLodge Old Town is on old Route 66, but it shares nothing with its neon cousins on the highway. The rooms have been updated (hardwood floors, lots of electrical outlets, high-tech thermostats), the towels are nice, and the wifi works well). The parking lot is small, and was full to overflowing on Saturday night, but the motel management and staff...

This motel was not only our favorite, but also the least expensive, of all the places we stayed at during our 2-month cross-country road trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, near I-40 and next to Old Town Albuquerque, allowing us to walk to or have a few-mile drive to places we visited. The motel even...

I had a terrible experience with Daniella who said she was the manager. We booked our room several days in advance. It was a simple king bed room and we had our little dog. The day we checked in they called and said we would have to be moved to a room with 2 queens because of the dog and...

I was glad I found Econo Lodge Old Town. I searched all over ABQ for a reasonable, clean, hot breakfast, and rooms that never had pets. You filled the bill plus you are 1 block from Old Town and all it has to offer. Your hardwood floors are great as well as your cleanliness. I have cancer and my immune...

Not a great stay and out of 16 hotels/motels in 23 days of Route 66 trekking, one of the worst places we stayed at. Our "superior" room ("suite") was situated under the stairwell so looking out of the window you only saw a concrete wall 2 yards away - and of course the room was very dark. We changed rooms...

Did two nights in Albuquerque to experience the Route 66 and get a bit of Breaking Bad. We chose the Econolodge based on its great reviews, price and location. It's an older style motel set up, but rooms have been nicely renovated with new flooring, tiling, fittings and furniture. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the AC and fridge were...

Clean and well kept up room and lobby. Good literature about the area that was helpful for our trip up north. So nice to be able to walk to Old Town in just a few minutes from the hotel. Friendly staff. I'd say it's a step up from what I expected for the price.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times. Nice rooms, great breakfast, and very friendly staff. And the price is hard to beat these days. The rooms away from the street are the quietest, particularly since Central is very busy and construction is going on right now.
