I chose this place due to its location to many shopping areas nearby (like Target), and the price was right for my first trip to the state. I really should've put my Breaking Bad cap on and know that Walter White's house was just a few miles from the hotel. Next time for sure. Anyway, my room was old school,...

If you were born after the Carter Presidency, you have got to stay here. When we saw the room Mrs GeoAdventurer asked: "Does Holiday Inn Corporate know about this place?" The room was clean and quiet but the hotel design is totally "Old School." If you are into cutting edge style, this place isn't for you, but if you want...

The room had all of the basic necessities but it was overpriced and needed some updates (the wallpaper looked like it was peeling off the wall). The room seemed a little dirty (the carpet, in particular). The bathroom was nice and it had a fridge and microwave. The location was a little scary at night. But the breakfast was great,...

I'm relocating from Phoenix to Virginia - driving with my two small dogs. This hotel gets 5 points in all categories important to me: clean and comfortable room, great shower, delicious breakfast ( both hot and cold offerings are available with many choices), pet friendly, and convenient to the freeway. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A courtyard type motel, with clean and spacious room. The basics were very good - bed/shower/cleanliness etc. Another plus was ample parking around the perimeter, plus a host of restaurants you can walk to get something to eat (staff recommended the famous Route 66 Owl Café just five minutes walk down the street, that didn't disappoint). A really nice pro...

This place has the doors to your rooms outside like a motel, but parking right outside the door is pretty nice too. Breakfast was good. We had scrambled eggs and cinnamon rolls and muffins. They had turkey sausage too. The room was clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the A/C thermostat didn't work great....

I have stayed there for at least close to 10 years and it is always clean and they always take care of any request you might have. One time I left some clothing and when I realized it the next day, I called said they have it for me. It was a few months before I went back and they...

This is an older but well maintained Holiday Express. Staff is helpful. If you don't like outside entrances this is not your hotel. I can live with it.. Strange configuration of rooms around a central pool and spa with balconies off room facing pool. Can be noisy if slider is open. I have stayed here twice and find it convenient...

Bathrooms smelled like mold. Mold was in the cracks of the bathroom tub. The room smelled strange too. Beds were clean but pretty standard. They put us by a gazebo outside that people smoked by so we were smelling it. Also teenagers outside and upstairs being loud. Would not recommend this place. It needs a complete remodel.

Dear Laura H, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I am pleased to note that you found our beds clean. As many have mentioned this property is a reconditioned motel with outdoor entrances. I normally shy away from this type of property. However in this case I am glad I didn't let this prejudice my decision. The room was clean and comfortable. Unless you are abnormally large or need assistance to move around, the rooms are a standard size and...
