Booked the Hotel Blue when coming to Albuquerque for a conference. After comparing prices with other downtown hotels could not pass it up since I was traveling on a budget. Located on the edge of downtown, it was easy walking distance to the conference, eating and entertainment. Location was one of the few pluses. Pro's: location on the edge of...

you just need to know that as soon we entered our room (4th floor) I screamed looking at the bath….two big "cucarachas"crowling on the walls….everybody agreed we couldn't stay one minute more!!!How can anyone in 2011 allow such insects in the rooms?? At 4th floor??? And they wanted our credit card even for taking a look at the room (because...

Chose this hotel based on Expedia reviews. This place is a dirty dump. We stayed two nights. Broken elevator, dirty hallways and breezeways, stained carpet. Our door wouldn't shut and the room smelled bad. The nieghbors had drunken parties all night and fought with security. When we asked for a different room, the clerk looked at us like we were...

What a great hotel! My son & I enjoyed a 5 night stay at the Hotel Blue and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The front desk staff was very friendly & personable. They were very open with local information that helped us get around the city. The room was quite spacious for two people. Nice...

We’ve decided to try to stay in a disabled room – it was strange not to have chairs in the room, I would think disabled people travel with somebody to help them who need to sit somewhere. Also there is a plank on the floor between the room and the bathroom – a wheelchair would have to roll over it...

1 star outside 3 stars inside The Hotel Blue is an older motel/hotel located in downtown, on the west side of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is right across the street from a nice city park, that during the summer/ fall months offers a Farmer's Market on Saturdays. It is unfortunate that homeless people also call the park home and it...

While The Hotel Blue doesn't look like much from the outside - ok, let's face it, it looks pretty dismal on the outside - it's rooms are very comfortable. Tempurpedic mattresses in all of the rooms. I slept more soundly in this hotel than I have in any of the dozens that I've stayed in over the years.

Nice accomodations, we were in town for the Balloon Fiesta. We didn't rent a car for $100 per day, so we used public transportation, both bus and rail. We had no problems with either with a minor exception, for some reason the city of Albuquerque doesn't make it easy to get to Balloon Fiesta Park or some of their other...

I am in the lobby of The Hotel Blue waiting for a taxi. Our one night stay was wonderful. This is an older property that has been upgraded with big screen tvs, marble accents and amazingly comfortable temperpedic bed. I don't think I have ever slept this well in a hotel before. It is located on Central ave otherwise known...

Great value. Don't let the exterior put you off; rooms have an adequate bed, great TV, and they are clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is midway between Old Town and Downtown. Very walkable area; restaurants nearby. Hotel will shuttle you where you need to go. If you are there on a Saturday morning, an interesting famers...
