The rooms are clean one of safest looking hotels in Albuquerque even with parking with the high crime of theft! But was disappointed with how complicated it seems with the parking down here and the staff charging my card twice don’t know if I was judged because of the clientele they are use too but I booked online then charged again with a deposit at the front desk!

Loved this hotel. Can’t wait for the new restaurant to open. Beds are so comfortable! Excellent location and the rooms were very quiet, spacious and clean. Service was impeccable as well. Classy spot! And the pool was so nice too! We will definitely be back.

The Clyde is going through some renovations, but nothing needs to be fixed about the service we received over 5 days. From Valet, to Front Desk, to Housekeeping, to Room Service, to the gift shop, to the Bar - rarely does everything work so well together, but they truly do, here at the Clyde. The only thing we can't comment on is the restaurant, but being in the business district, it closes for the weekend when we finally got the chance to go. We will return and make sure to sample that aspect as we'll happily stay for an extended period here again.

This was the Hyatt Regency when it was booked but had become the Clyde by the time of our stay. We were happy enough during our two note stop on our Route 66 drive. The room was good and had a commanding view over Alburquerque. We enjoyed the view of the ballons taking off in the morning. The hotel bar was well stocked and a nice place to have a drink before going out for the evening. It was easy to park the car with the entrance to the secure car park just aroud the corner. Carrie's Restaurant looked nice but was only open for Breakfast and Lunch. Why not dinner? We struggled to find good restaurants nearby and would have happily ate there if it had been open.

We stayed downtown for the Balloon Fiesta. Hotel is in a nice area close to many attractions. The hotel is in the midst of a renovation, but will be beautiful when complete. I did not see any restaurant open on location, but there was a bar, Starbucks, juice bar and gift shop. Rooms were in need of updating, but very clean.

If you’re looking for a Motel 6 experience, then this is your place. Do NOT believe the star-rating. Rooms are as bare and stale as a Motel 6 room, right down to the absolute cheaply framed cheap art? A flea market has better art. Bed/bedding was good- staff was awesome (they felt bad about the experience because they “hear it all the time”. It’s not the staffs fault). Bathroom was as cheap and basic as it comes… same as the room, and trying to pass basic and cheap off as modern-minimal is a joke. Food awesome… “however”, isn’t the point of room-service that it’s available AFTER the restaurant closes? Nope, it shuts down when the restaurant shuts down. The communal areas, lobby, etc are “generic” at best, lazy at worst. Gonna be honest, any time Heritage Resorts takes over a great property it goes downhill, and this place is the perfect example. If you stay there you will affirm everything in this review.

I booked this hotel on the hotels website which the most ridiculous hotel website I have ever used. I never received an email confirmation. I called 3 times and was assured that I would receive a confirmation. After checking all the facts…email address was correct I decided to cancel my booking at this hotel. It is obvious that they are not ready to take bookings online. Heritage Hotels should be embarrassed to have a website such as theirs. It is awful.

I always stay at Heritage Hotels when visiting New Mexico -- on this trip tried The Clyde. The Clyde is the former Hyatt Regency -- the rooms are dated as the renovation to become The Clyde has not begun. I found the staff to be very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant "Carries" is hit and miss --- decided to go to the restaurant in the nearby Hilton (Mas) and the breakfast was outstanding as was the dinner! It will take a long time before The Clyde is fully renovated but you can enjoy the hotel now -- it is clean --- but very dated.

Room was ok. Service from the bellman was very nice, the front desk staff, not so much. In different and immature. No food service except room service on Sat and Sun morning with no place to safely walk. The adjoining neighborhood is rather seedy. Plus, 30 minute wait for 2 eggs etc for breakfast with the only place to eat in my room is the desk with a chair that feels like its going to fall over. Not what is expected from such a historic property.
