Every two years when I bring a mission team to the Navajo reservation, I stay at this motel. This will be the last time. We even cancelled our reservations of 5 rooms for 2 days on our way back home. First, "free airport shuttle" exists only until midnight. Our flight usually gets in at 11:45 PM. No problem, we tell them ahead of time, we call when we arrive, and they come to get us at the airport. Our flight was delayed 45 minutes, arriving at 12:30. There was no shuttle available. The lady at the desk was very kind, said she asked the shuttle driver if she would stay over for us--she wouldn't. When asked if the manager could help us, we were told, "I can't reach her." $55 and 3 taxis later we arrived. There was now a gentleman working at the desk. He was very friendly. Our rooms (which we had booked as first floor) were 2nd floor and back building,,,hard when you have 18 suitcases plus carry-ons to lug up stairs.Door locks were iffy about opening, 2 rooms curtains wouldn't close last 8 inches...so much for privacy. 1 group got locked out of room, belongings inside and door wouldn't open again. Tried for over 1 1/2 hours to get back in. Gentleman from front desk finally found them another room but still couldn't get their clothes and medicine out of 1st room. Finally at 3:00 AM he regrettfully gets manager who gives him authority to call maintenance in to fix the problem. 15 minutes later maintenance arrives and "pops' lock to allow us to retrieve medications and other belongings. In general, room carpet was filthy, drains didn't work well, light bulbs out, etc. As a Platinum Member I stay at Wyndham as often as possible, but never here again. The front desk personal are great, but limited in authority. The manager is the one so lacking in concern and abililty to properly oversee a motel of this size.

Dirty carpet, noisy air conditioner and items that just needed maintenance made staying here very disappointing. Also the free breakfast was frequently missing items. The room was tiny and hard to maneuver around people to get to food items. We mostly ate someplace else even though we had to pay. Would not recommend this hotel.

The room floor had bark or something on it like they didnt vacuum, there was a fish oil capsule on the bathroom floor, and the carpet was extremely stained. My grandmothers room door would not lock unless you flipped the latch. It would just push open without the handle and she couldnt get the deadbolt to work either. The only redeeming quality was that the beds were super comfortable. We will never stay there again.

Gross carpet. Property needs to be updated. Lots of stains on the carpet and hallways were pretty dirty looking. Staff was good checking was a breeze and the breakfast was decent. Rooms were pretty quiet no thin walls here.

We were in town for the National Senior Games and the hotel was full, as were most of the others in the area. The airport shuttle service was extended so that we could be taken each morning to my events at the UNM track stadium. They even took us to the Convention Center downtown so I could get my credentials. The breakfast was much more than we have received at other hotels and it was ready at 6 am. The staff was extremely cheerful and the office manager Lainey made us feel welcome and appreciated. Larry the hotel maintenance man was very efficient and personable. The two shuttle drivers seemed excited to take us to my events and always asked how I had done the day before. They also gave great recommendations about where to eat and what to see. Even though the building is aged, the furnishings were quite recent and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Albuquerque!
