Had a nice stay here. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Clean, comfortable large rooms and slept well. Breakfast needs improvement however, didn't get my gravy with biscuit which I was so looking forward to and didn't care much for the instant eggs.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review for us. I'm happy here to hear you had a pleasant stay. We alternate the meat items in our breakfast, and the sausage gravy is only served twice a week. That said, our breakfast attendant, Arlene, is always willing to heat a single portion for any guest who requests it.... More

My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hallways are a bit narrow and the carpet is very dated. I'm told by my brother who lives in Albuquerque that this is not the best part of town. He made sure to walk me out late at night to walk my dog. The hotel in not quite the experience... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you were apprehensive about walking your dog at night. The area in which we are located is considered industrial, with many hotels, restaurants, and small automotive businesses. In the 12 years we have been here, none of our guests have ever reported being or feeling as though they were in... More

We stayed at this location twice during our recent road trip. My husband and I were traveling with our 3 dogs. La Quinta is VERY dog friendly! Our first room at the start of our trip was Room 201. It was a King Suite with Jetted tub. Great Room. Ample room to relax. We do wish that it had a... More

Thank you, Laura, for your great review! While you were having breakfast, you may have noticed a guest courtyard just beyond the breakfast room. This courtyard is furnished with a barbecue, tables, and chairs. It is a completely enclosed "grass" area where you can take your pets (off leash) to run and stretch their legs, as well as sit with... More

Thank you for your review and thank you for being a loyal La Quinta customer. Our location here in Midtown is perfect, with access to both I-25 and I-40 just outside our door. We are literally only ten minutes from anything you may want to see or eat here in Albuquerque. I'm glad your stay is always memorable and that... More

The staff at this La Quinta were very accomodating and pleasant. The room was lovely... very clean and well appointed, and there was an area behind the hotel to walk dogs. We really appreciated finding a pet friendly hotel in central Albuquerque. We will probably return.

Thank you for your review. I'm happy to know you enjoyed your stay with us and that your pet had a great time. I thoroughly enjoy standing at the front desk and watching all the dogs running and playing together, as well as their "Moms and Dads" getting acquainted while they do. The one thing we all have in common... More

Very clean hotel, high ceiling in room, plenty of wall outlets, roomy, comfortable beds, good breakfast, pet friendly, odd parking lot, kinda close to highway but a bit cumbersome to get to. Lots of homeless people but they never caused an issue with anyone that I could tell. Stayed one night and we enjoyed it.

Thank you for your review. In this day of technology, we discovered early on that there were definitely not enough outlets in the rooms for all our "gadgets." That said, when we renovated three years ago, we replaced all of our lighting with ones that provided additional outlets. We feel being "connected" is one of the best ways to feel... More

We often stay at La Quinta when we travel cross country with our dog. We have stayed at this location several times and it is consistently clean. Nice rooms and staff. Easy to get to downtown ABQ for dinner. Quiet and secure location. Dog friendly

This is what you expect from a hotel; relatively up-to-date rooms, clean, decent breakfast, and within walking distance of several restaurants. I read some reviews commenting that the location was sketchy, but did not really think so.

Good morning and thank you for your review. You are correct in that some people's observations are very different from others. We are located in an industrial area, and sometimes that's all a guest might focus on. We are actually in a very quiet area, surrounded by several restaurants and hotels. I'm glad you didn't let those few reviews prevent... More

We stayed here one night with our dog. I have stayed at other dog-friendly hotels where rooms for those with pets are on the first floor near an exit. This is really convenient for when your dog has to go outside! Unfortunately this was not the case at this La Quinta, where we were on the second floor. Also, we... More
