AMERICAN RV PARK ~ the hosts were so helpful and friendly. They had a small gift shop and lots of information about the area located in the office. They also served a FREE continental breakfast which was very nice. The only problem we had was the internet, it was non-existent.

The park has two sections. The older section has a lot of trees and is well laid out. It appears that is where they put the smaller RV's and 5th wheels. The newer section - no trees, but clearly designed for big rig RV's. They even have two sewer hook-ups at each site to accommodate most any configuration. The sites... More

This place would be great for an overnighter if your traveling through Albuquerque on Rt. 40 or 25 since it's very convenient to both, but we stayed here 5 days and it's just not the kind of park we try to visit. The sites are very close together and the park is large and crowded. We travel with dogs and... More

Front office staff is very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast is basic continental but kept well stocked. The store has an excellent mix of products and souvneiors . Biggest need is maintenance. Weeds growing out of swimming pool deck and in patio areas of campsites need attention. Patios are cracked and unlevel. WiFi is poor or unavailable Even the woman... More

We always stop here now on our way through Albuquerque, after trying a few others. Clean, well maintained, easy access both East & West bound on I-40. Easy check in, escort to sites. Paved roads and level concrete pads with either grass or gravel between sites depending on where you are. Good full hookups. Some trees but mostly small at... More

We stayed for a week in a class A motor home. It was clean and quiet. They serve a continental breakfast (which is unheard of), have a clean pool and hot tub. The front desk and maintenance people are ready to please and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them.

We reserved a spot and paid the Good Sam rate but won't be back. No wifi and when we asked no one could answer our questions and no one tried to get it fixed. Turned off the water in the middle of the day with no warning. Place is clean but I wouldn't recommend. Too many better choices here.

We stayed at American RV Campground in June 2016 on our return trip from CA. to FL. This campground is located right beside I-40 however it was quiet. The sites are large enough for any size rig, 50 amp service, CATV and free WIFI. Our site was to the left of the Office/Pool building, I believe it was site #220.... More

I agree 100% with the other reviews on here about the rude employees. We went on a cross country RV trip including Canada and this park hands down was the worst in terms of customer service. I was deep cleaning my RV and putting garbage out by my front door. My plan was After I had collected all my garbage... More

We came from Texas to American RV Park and stayed for 3 nights in our big rig with tow (43 feet plus tow). Park is right on the frontage road, so you do hear some highway noise, however it is not too bad. We stayed in early July, so it is hot during the day and there is little to... More
