My sister had recommended Adobe and Roses for years, and finally I had the opportunity to spend 3 nights there with her. It’s the perfect retreat, set well back off a quiet side street. It was lovely to walk each day through Dorothy’s garden to our little casita. The Sandia Mountains were the perfect backdrop to the rising hot air... More

I absolutely loved my stay at Adobe and Roses. Dorothy and her husband were so welcoming to me. I was traveling by myself and appreciated their kindness and hospitality. The grounds are just beautiful- warm and inviting. The guest rooms are beautiful and very cozy. It felt like my home away from home only better because it is in NEW... More

We were there for 8 days to see the city and attend the Balloon Fiesta. The accomidations are great in the guest house. We had both rooms and Dorothy was great. She knows the area and was helpful with the things we should see while we were there. The decor is rustic southwestern with great beds. You bet we would... More

We tend stay at B&B's while traveling and this was a great find. We stayed in the suite which felt more as if we were in a single apartment. In addition to a large bedroom area with plenty of closet and drawer space, it held a full bathroom (with stand alone shower and bath), a living space, area for a... More

The large and comfortable main house suite fit our needs. Dorothy could not have been nicer. The suite offered kitchen facilities, but don't forgoe Dorothy's tasty, large and healthfu breakfasts. We enjoyed being outside town with chickens, pheasants, a rabbit and a friendly cat, but near enough to Old Town and the Sandia tram. It sure beat a small motel/hotel room at... More

This beautiful Bed and Breakfast is the embodiment of this old saying "My home is your home". Having stayed at this oasis in the big, busy city of Albuquerque many times since the early 1990s, I can say with confidence that you will not find a more welcoming, comfortable, true New Mexican home away from home. We (my husband, parents,... More

Loved our stay at Adobe and Roses, we wanted an authentic New Mexican experience while in town for our sons soccer tournament. Dorothy was more than accommodating, we stayed in the guest house and had a lovely time. My husband brought his rode bike and could ride on the Rio Grande trail, I also found it a nice path to... Adobe and Roses was perfect for our exploration of New Mexico. The suites are homey, comfortable and fun. We day-tripped to Albuquerque, several pueblos and the Tourquoise Road. Dorothy, the proprietress, was a delight, as were her breakfasts. Six Michellin stars!!!

Located in the middle of horse country a 15 minute ride from the Old Town, Adobe and Roses is a wonderful, quiet oasis surrounded by gardens, a pond and a variety of colorful birds on the ground. Don't let the distance throw you, everything is about a 20 minute ride in Albuquerque. We stayed in one of the units in... More

In September 2013, I traveled to Albuquerque and was looking for a bed & breakfast where I could relax for a few days, be independent, be surrounded by quiet and beauty - and bring my faithful Labrador retriever. I found it - and more! Adobe & Roses is its own little paradise in the midst of a beautiful garden with... More
