Hill and crew took care of us in the worst winter storm in decades. Lost power, propane and water, but we never lost hope. The resort made certain we were comfortable in the worst of conditions. We can not be more thankful for the support they offered us in a time of crisis. The resort is spacious and very well maintained. Pool and hot tub are excellent. Activities are numerous and well organized. Particularly enjoyed the pancakes and Bloody Mary’s!

I highly recommend this place. The sites are huge - 75 - 90 ft. long concrete pads, concrete patio, parking for extra vehicle, picnic table, fire pit, 30 and 50-amp hookup capability (full hookup), and free high speed fiber optic internet (plugin directly to computer to watch tv, game, or surf the web). Park amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, gym, bathhouses, laundry, propane service, pickleball, shuffleboard, club house, dog park, and mail service. Scheduled activities include guided trips to Mexico, Shrimp boils, Taco Tuesday, Margarita Thursday, Pancake Saturday, cornhole tournaments, live bands, ice cream socials, Jewelry classes, and other special guests/events etc. Overall this is one of the best parks we've stayed. The amenities are fantastic, park staff and owner are great, and the other guest here are welcoming.

Tropical Trails Staff and Management were welcoming, hospitable, and friendly. The park is spacious and the rooms super clean. Plus the pool is a fantastic bonus. My group and I enjoyed our stay and will be back very soon. Thanks for a great week and weekend!

We stayed here a month in their cabins. Brand new with large kitchen. Perfect for 2 people. Everything is brand new. The owners are very active with their guest. We enjoyed activities almost everyday. Large pool with hot tub. Fitness center that I used almost daily. Centrally located in Brownsville and only 20 minutes from SPI. This place is gong to be the destination of choice for winter Texans in the Brownsville area. We will be back for 2021

I stayed here the second week they opened. Owners and staff were so nice and accommodating. Planned activities were great. Owners hosted a shrimp boil and a wine social with live music at both. Facilities were so nice. Lot's to do! Big pool, hot tub, fitness center, ping pong, pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, a dog park, planned activities and entertainment, pavilions with grills and tables, a library, games, wide open space to walk or ride bikes, a beautiful lake to relax by. Everything was immaculate and well designed. Just a few miles down the road from South Padre. I highly recommend this for your next trip to the coast.
