My husband travels quite a bit for work so we don’t stray too far from our typical name brand hotel to make sure we earn our points, but this was worth the change up. V Boutique Hotel only has 8 rooms and sits atop a Vietnamese restaurant. The view is just the street below but the location is great. We took Lime scooters and went to several places right around town. We stayed in a suite and it was worth it. The room was large with three sections (bigger than our typical suite size) and a large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean and well done. There is plenty of room to have an air mattress or three and still be comfortable. The staff is very polite and helpful! We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
Family and friends rented four rooms for two nights in order to attend our son's winging at the Naval Air Station. The location was a straight shot to the base and we had everything we needed within walking distance downtown. All the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing from reservations to check-out. Parking was free. The Vietnamese restaurant on the ground floor was delicious and moderately priced.
I am led to believe the "V" is closing at the end of the month. Still it was a wonderful getaway place one block from the seawall boardwalk. The hotel sits above a Vietnamese restaurant and only has 8 rooms. It was well-maintained. The room was a tad small with a queen bed kind of dominating the space. No view except to the street below, but hey we weren't there to stay in the room. Bathroom was large. I think what made it special were the two young women who manned the front desk. They were personable, helpful and just downright thoughtful. I would stay again, but I do believe I am accurate in my statement that it is closing. Very easy walking to the marina, bars and restaurants.
This was my first visit to this boutique hotel, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The room has a small living room, a small kitchen that includes microwave and a mini fridge. Two tv’s and the best is the location. Downstairs you will find a delicious Vietnamese restaurant and a lot of different options in a radius of 3 blocks.
First time to stay in this hotel after traveling to CC for years. Concept of a few rooms is good but service is lacking. Person at desk could not recommend a restaurant for diner other than Water Street which we know to be crowded and loud with average food. After being out all day, the room was not touched other than to make the bed. Felt that my car was exposed being parked overnight in an empty parking lot. No coffee in the lounge area. Wanted some matches to light a candle but were told none available since the facility is non smoking.
This was my first stay in a boutique hotel and V did not disappoint. The room was well apportioned and homey. The bed was very comfortable and the outdoor and hallway noise was virtually non-existent. For virtually the same price as staying at one of the fancier chain hotels, book here and experience the boutique way of life.
A little unusual set up but the bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely was nicely laid out for me and my husband and small dog! :0) The check in was quick and efficient and there was plenty of parking. The hotel is very close to many restaurants so the was a nice perk!
This hotel occupies the second floor of a building whose former use is difficult to determine (perhaps a bank?). It is above a Vietnamese restaurant and below something called the Crystal room. It has something like 8 rooms total and a very small exercise area. The front desk staff also serve as room-cleaning details. The hotel and rooms are small and very charming, with a very modern, contemporary feel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet, even with a yappy dog down the hall we were undisturbed. All the views are of other buildings. It is one block from the bay front and in easy walking distance to a number of nice restaurants and bars. Overall, though, downtown Corpus Christi is a little rough around the edges. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.…
Very chic hotel in downtown Corpus Cristi. Modern comfortable rooms, super fast wifi include. Nice friendly staff. Lots of attractions with in walking distance Great Vietnamese restaurant downstairs. Parking included
I liked that we were able to check in early that was great! The hotel is located above the Vietnam restaurant and as you pull up there is not really any clear area of where to go and it does look a little fishy. Once you are in you go up the elevator to the second floor where you check in. We really liked that there was cookies ( calories don't count on vacation right? ) The room we were in smelled like poo in the bathroom but the best was clean and comfortable. We booked in hotels.con and it seemed a lot cheaper than other sites. I would say stay right on the beach or near Padre Island.
