The staff is helpful and friendly, great place to launch your boat. Rooms where clean and beds comfortable. The channels are marked well and easy to navigate for first time explores. I wish they had a larger live bait selection but options are available just a short boat ride away from the marina/bait shop. I will definitely stay there again

The lodge and restaurant on site is a huge bonus!!! Hotel is basic but clean and great place to stay!! Very convenient for fishermen. Parking can be tricky on the weekends but once you launch your boat and park you really do not have to leave!

Stayed at the hotel two times. Perfect place to bring a boat and launch into the Upper Laguna Madre to fish.Live bait and ice on-site. Hotel rooms are nice with plenty of boat/truck parking in the lot out front. Has resturant on-site or not far from other facilities.

Had wifi problems. The owner let me in the room with the router to fix it. Not quite mom and pop but as close as you can get. The real draw is the fishing. The only drawback is that the the location can often smell foul (not the hotel).

Three of us stayed Memorial Day weekend. Boat ramp was a little crowded but okay early. Room was clean and had cold AC. Room service daily. Restaurant and Marina store onsite with bait, ice and gasoline on the water. Straight shot out the bay to the ICW. Would stay again.

If you've got a boat you'll love this place! No boat? Schedule a boat trip. We went for a weekend with no fishing but still loved this place. Very basic room but who really wants to be indoors in the summer? Bed was comfy, a/c was excellent, and the view was awesome. This place is close to South Padre and...

Went here last weekend. Great place. Manager was very competent and very customer service oriented. Relaxing and close to the island. Clean and safe. Restaurant and bar close by. Housekeepers were attentive.

Loved the proximity to the marina and docks here. There's a restaurant but it was closed by the time we returned from our fishing trip. The hotel was very clean and I would recommend it to anyone coming in to fish. There is plenty of trailer parking too

Booked this hotel due to a guided fishing trip out of Bluff's Landing Marina. The rooms were perfect for a good night's rest before our full day of fishing. The beds were nice and comfortable. The rooms are not 5 Star, but they were great for what we were looking for. The Hawk's Nest is right above the Laguna Reef...

This hotel is a great value, the AC is cold, bed couldn't be more comfortable (pilows as well) and the room was clean. We couldn't find the remote, but the house keeper found one for us. We love staying here when we book a fishing trip. The Laguna Reef restaurant is across the parking lot. Good food and a great bloody...

“We loved 215 and 216 on the corner end looking across water: a king and a king deluxe with couch. Deer heads are in all rooms, but outdoor fans will love the touch. Double-doubles also are great for families with small children.”
