My wife and I visited the Rosecliff Lodge in May of 2014. Nothing much has changed. This time it was my wife, myself, and our good friend. We got a two bedroom suite. The room allowed us to spend evenings together without someone having to crouch on the side of a bed or sit in some uncomfortable chair. There were... More

After attending one of my friend's beautiful wedding there, we decided to stay the night. WRONG...we left after pulling back our sheets to what looked like pubic hairs in our bed. The bugs on the floor should have been an indicator of how unclean it was. We were exhausted, but it wasn't worth staying there!

We recently floated on current river and stayed at the Landing. We were advised that the river was NOT up and it would be perfectly okay to float. On our way to the float trip the girl told us the river was up about 4 feet. Needless to say, our raft capsized. Yes, our RAFT. One member of our party... More

The owner and security guards at The Landing are out of control. They approached a member of our party around 7:00PM on a Saturday regarding a noise complaint they claim they received about us the night before. Impossible. We were all in bed prior to 10PM (quiet time is midnight), and have neighbors who can vouch for us. They claimed... More

these people are completely nuts, they came to our cabin at 11:00 pm saying we were too loud and we told them we had gone to bed, they then said we were back talking them and they tazed and handcuffed my son. we are god fearing people and we are simply trying to protect others. this place is unreal, my... Rooms are tastefully decorated, that is the best I can say. No fridge, no hairdryer, no garbage can, no plugs ins for computers or charging cell phones, no table if you want to eat in room. Bathroom is so small you couldn't swing a cat. Two beds but you can barely maneuver around them. If you want wi-if you will... More

Almost didn't book this trip because of poor recent reviews. Glad we looked at the overall ratings, though, because we have been very pleased. The service has been great - quick, friendly, and efficient. Room is comfortable and clean. Rates are fair. Wifi is a little spotty. Mattress not luxurious but good enough. Well located. Overall a great experience. Would... More

Friendly staff, clean rooms, down home hospitality. We stayed three nights and canoed the river 2 days. The Blue Heron restaurant in house had excellent steaks and the frogs legs were exceptional. We tried several other restaurants in the area and all had good food and friendly staff. The river activities staff was well organized and our excursions went off... More

This is the worst place to stay EVER. The staff members are rude and inhospitable. They threatened members of our party for walking across the parking lot because they couldn't remember their room number. The rooms are dirty and way overpriced. The entire place is run down and nasty smelling. Do yourself a favor, DONT STAY HERE!!!

We arrived on Memorial Day for a first float trip for both parents, guided by our experienced son. When delivered to our departure point, we seemed to have the Current River mostly to ourselves with the exception of a few speedboats owned by locals at the end of the holiday weekend. It was a great experience. Upon return, the hotel... More
