We've tried most of the marriott properties in Salt Lake City. The rooms here are very nice and the whole atmosphere is more laid back than being right downtown. Free parking is a huge plus. The atrium views of he mountains every time you are on the elevator are a nice plus. Room service was excellent, as is the grill...

I've been to this Marriott a couple of times before for business and skiing and it has always been alright, but not great. This last time, however, was awful. We stayed for 4 days with the first 2 over a weekend. There was a youth hockey tournament so there were a lot of families with kids. I'll never understand why...

This hotel entirely lacks a gluten free menu. Rice is not even a menu option and they will not offer oatmeal after 11 am even for a person recovering from food poisoning. I asked for hot water to be brought to my room while I was too sick to leave my room and was told to go get it from...

I work for a contractor for the Federal Government and needed to set up a three day conference there. There was an attrition clause in the Contract which meant if we did not meet a certain number of room nights, we would be charged the difference. I understand the Hotel is taking a risk and that the clause is in...

I was attending a conference for work and brought my family along with me on the trip. Rather than staying right in downtown SLC, we decided on this hotel, which is a few miles up from downtown in the foothills. This hotel is great...convenient to downtown via a $15 cab ride, or better yet, light rail also provides easy access....

We stayed at this hotel because of business with the university and the location was excellent. The hotel maintains Marriott standards and is very comfortable to stay in. Our room was roomy and comfortable and the staff was great. We ate at the hotel's restaurant for breakfast and rather than ordering from the menu we had their breakfast buffet. It...

I stayed at this hotel a couple of nights. We chose it because it was convenient to meetings at the university. I was not disappointed. Rooms were a good size and with decent lighting. A nice bathroom with enough space. The gym has plenty of pieces of equipment to choose from and it was open 24 hours. Starbucks in the...

Only stayed a night, for a short business trip. Easy check in, large lobby, fast elevators, large, clean rooms. About a 15-20 minute drive to the airport, there are closer Marriott option to the airport, if that's an issue. We had hoped there was something within walking distance, a restaurant, etc., but this Marriott is kind of in a commercial...

We've discovered how easy it is to stay here. Close to the University, the hospital, Moran Eye Center and above the occassional winter inversion. Only 15 minutes up the canyon to Park City. No charge for parking (unusual for Salt Lake). Download the free Marriott app and check in early. It's been nicely remodeled.

I stay here every time I am in SLC and it is excellent every time. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, only a 45-minute drive to the ski resorts in Big Cottonwood Canyon and a short walk up the hill to the botanic gardens. If you...
