Stayed here for three nights while in town on business. Ended up arriving at the hotel at about 10:30am after flying in from the East Coast. Front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating with an early check in. Standard room was clean and spacious. Bar/restaurant on site had pretty good food and good service.

A very dog friendly hotel. Although the was no grassy area on the property, there was a nice park around the block. This was just our airline destination on the way to Yellowstone but we had a chance to see the tabernacle and many historical sites. Ruth’s Chris restaurant is right next door and we experienced a wonderful dinner.

My friend and I were waiting in the lobby and a worker asked us if we needed a ride to the airport. Our flight wasn’t till 8pm and this was 12:30pm we said we would wait in the lobby for a while. He persisted and we thought ok a free ride to the airport would be nice. The driver looked sketchy so I asked the concierge if he was with the hotel. She say yes that is Max. He drove us to the airport then said the cost was $35!!! And Uber would have been $16. I called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do as he is a third party driver. Even those the worker offered us a ride and said he was with the hotel. I’m furious.

Responded 4 weeks ago
Dear isabellevJ7992AE: Thank you for being our guest and for providing feedback regarding your stay. We are so sorry about the experience that you had with your ride back to the airport. Our front office management has been researching this issue to see what happened; it appears that it may have begun with one of our newer team members, and we will be addressing this issue with him to ensure he understands that while it may be appropriate to check in with guests to see if they need assistance booking a taxi or finding other transportation to the airport, we should not persist and should never leave an impression that the transportation itself is a complimentary service. We also apologize for the implication by another team member that the driver worked for the hotel. Although he does indeed provide taxi service for us on occasion, he is definitely not with the hotel. He may or may not have been under the assumption that you were aware of the fee, so we will also follow up with him as necessary after we have clarified the issue with our team member. In addition, we regret that our front desk team was not more sympathetic or helpful when you reported the problem. We would like to try to refund the cost of your transportation as a token of that regret, and we would like to invite you once again to contact the hotel directly. We have recently given our front desk team instructions on what to do if someone calls in regarding our response to their on-line review. Because of the public nature of these posts, we have asked them to gather basic contact information and stay details, and then forward that to one of a few specific individuals for further follow-up. We appreciate having you stay with us, and we apologize once again for this situation. We do hope that otherwise you were comfortable and enjoyed your time in Salt Lake City. Best wishes, and please be sure to let us know if we can be of assistance to you. – Kind regards, Hilton Salt Lake City Center team

It's centrally located to everything in SLC. Clean rooms, great food and accommodating any business meeting. I needed a special request for shipping/handling a sales booth and the staff did a great job of assisting me in every step of the process.

I was excited to get the email saying you have been upgraded! Over the 15 or so years I have been a diamond member I rarely get these. When I checked in to room 1602 the first thing I noticed was the ripped wallpaper. When I brought it up to the women at the front desk she just looked at me as if this was acceptable.. Then the next night I am brushing my teeth when I noticed ball green fuzz ball floating to the ground. When i looked up the was green fuzz mold in the vent. I asked the manager to call me but it never happened. Said thing was i was there looking at the property for a meeting and traveling with a child who is moving there.

Dear U5871GLjohns: Thank you for being a valued Hilton Diamond member and for providing feedback regarding your stay. We were sorry to learn of the problems you found in your sleeping room, and we apologize for these issues as well as the apathetic response you encountered when you reported them to our front desk team. We thank you for your efforts to let us know, and we have scheduled our engineering team to repair the wallpaper and address the issue with the bathroom vent as well. We do appreciate having you as our guest, and we apologize again for the condition of your room and the impact it had on your stay. We hope that otherwise you were comfortable and enjoyed your time in Salt Lake City, and we also hope you will consider granting us the option at some point of re-earning your trust. In any event, best wishes and please let us know if you have any questions or if we can be of further service to you. – Kind regards, Hilton Salt Lake City Center team

I was here for a conference recently. We have a tiered seating meeting room with plenty of room and comfortable chairs. I don't usually write reviews about conference rooms, but this one stood out. When I tried to check in prior to our conference starting, it was around 7:30am. Understandably, there weren't any rooms ready yet. However, the woman at the check in desk probably didn't have her coffee yet, because she was having a case of the Karen's. It really seemed like I was interrupting what she was doing at the time. She notified me that there weren't any rooms available. I thanked her and excused myself. After the conference concluded for the day, We were finally able to check in and get our rooms. I had room 922. It was one of the end rooms, but not far from the elevators. The room is spacious and has a huge TV. The room was not quite as clean as normal when going into a newly cleaned room. The bathroom door was in ill repair and the pillows could use to be a little firmer. Otherwise, the stay was great. I am just picking at some of the small things because these are easy to address. The hotel is in a great location. It's close to everything in downtown. I would recommend staying here if given the opportunity.

The people who work here are extremely nice. That seems common in this city. The hotel seems newer and things all worked properly. The rooms had a really great view of the surrounding mountains. The pool looked great. The beds were pretty comfortable. And enjoyable stay.

Always a great stay at this downtown full service Hilton. The staff goes out of their way including providing me with a home test kit from their personal supply when you couldn’t find any tests anywhere! Would be great if they reinstate daily maid service and not just by request.

This property is within walking distance of the Convention Center and many dining options. My bed was quite comfortable and the room was certainly adequate for a short stay. There is a quirky keypad code system for the elevators, but the digital key on the Hilton app worked like a charm. I was a bit disappointed that you had to request room cleaning — someone failed to tell me at check-in — so, I was not able to receive new towels, have the trash collected, and other standard services (even though I called the front desk to check on room cleaning).
