The Peery is located conveniently to great restaurants, the Salt Palace, and downtown SLC. I was able to walk everywhere I went. The airport was only 15 minutes away by Uber. All the staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has that boutique charm and has been redone beautifully. I was there during some unseasonably warm days. Being...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review of the Historic Peery Hotel. I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay due to the warm weather we were experiencing.

This "boutique" hotel has been beautifully remodeled to reflect a true 1950's experience. Not a trashy fake remodel. They did a fastidious job with their furnishings. The bed was great. The service was good and the front desk staff were refined. However, (this is the part you were waiting for), we had a prime corner suite and the air conditioning...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Historic Peery Hotel. Please allow me to apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced during your stay with us. We are now offering breakfast in our newly opened restaurant which is part of the hotel and located directly in the lobby. In regards to the parking, we unfortunately do not...

Old school hotel that has been nicely renovated. Beautiful lobby area. Nice sized room with 2 queen memory foam beds. Nice touch! Tiny bathroom. Shower won't accommodate anyone taller than 6'3" without bending down. I'd rate the hotel and room itself a 3.5 if not for the issue we had and the lack of help by the staff. Issue is...

The room was wonderful and romantic with a huge soft bed. Nice restaurant, and bar downstairs, Very friendly and helpful staff. Recently renovated and remodeled so it looks fabulous. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a downtown hotel within walking distance to the Convention Center, restaurants and tram service. Bathroom was on the small side but adequate. Everything was...

Stayed three nights for business - charming and cozy! Appreciated the complimentary mini marshmellows, coffee, tea, and fruit infused water. Comfortable quaint lobby with fireplace and points to plug in my laptop and do my report writing. Across the street from Ruth's Chris Steak house and other dining establishments. Next to the Art's Center. Would come back in the summertime...

Although, it was February it was quite warm in Salt Lake. After driving from Moab, I was looking forward to having a good sleep. Unfortunately, the AC unit does not work during winter and the window cannot be opened. It was very suffocating too. They relocated us to a new room next day where window could be opened and we...

Lovely Boutique Hotel conveniently located 10mins walk from Downtown. Friendly young staff. My room located on the top floor (3rd) overlooking the street was quiet & compact, not suitable for a couple, immaculate & clean. Free WiFi. The large bed & pillows were pure luxury. Lots of Plugs/USB points located on bedside tables & dresser drawer. Had a large window...

I always stay at the Peery because I love the charm and the comfy beds. I like staying at unique spots rather than expensive chain hotels. Peery fits the bill on all accounts. I have been staying at the Peery for many years, but I kind of prefer the old Peery before it's recent renovation. It's still a great place...

So, I stayed at the Perry with my boyfriend, and we had a great time! It was clean and interesting. The business and fitness center in the basement were clean and inviting as well. The bathrooms were configured a little weird, but it's an historic hotel so I am sure that is why, and it didn't bother me. The only...

This is our third stay at the Peery. Partly before and now after the renovation. Fabulous old hotel. The Reno is gorgeous. Rooms are good size for the three of us and gigantic bathroom. The best part is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and charming. We won't stay anywhere else.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Peery Hotel, established in 1910, is a historic landmark hotel whose architecture is rooted in the Early Prairie and classical revival styles of the time. The renovation of this Grand Dame pays homage to the many time periods during its operation, thereby creating true American Heritage style. The interiors have a "collected over time" feel with unique and unexpected art throughout. Many vintage inspired pieces are mixed with some of the original antique pieces creating a fresh historic feel that is more unique than the heavy traditional hotels of old. The hotel is inclusive and accessible to the business and vacation traveler alike. The Peery is a historic hotel with a modern spirit. ... more   less
