Big hassle and lots of rules, the bed wasn't that comfy either, really noisy, but th shower was good. If you're just looking for a nice price and location (close to the lightrail greenline and the free route area for the rail is just 10 min. walk) Kitchen was nice and well equipped, there's a shelf for dry food left... Although Camelot Inn was very clean and in a great location, we had such an unbelievable hassle to get inside and check in that I do not recommend it. Since know one lives on site, there are cameras everywhere, which made me feel uncomfortable ( was there also one in the shower? ) The parking lot had broken glass over... More

Having no staff on-site is absolute bs. I mistakenly booked on-line one day later as I had to do so on my phone driving into SLC. Of course there was no one to talk to about this simple issue. I was unable to access the place for about 30 minutes, waiting out front until someone eventually walked out and then... More

They are rather strict on the rules here so do take the time to read them. I give this hostel a fantastic value for money rating for a few reasons: 1. It's one block from the Trax station, making travel to most places incredibly simple. 2. The bed was comfy, the door locked, the room was clean, and a towel... More

The check in system requires some thought to figure out, which could be unwelcome when you're tired after a long journey. Also, there was not much of a common area to relax in. However, our room was comfortable and clean, and we felt relaxed staying there. Most of all, it made for a great story because it was a really... More

amelot Inn and Hostel is fine if you book well in advance and never have to actually deal with the owner. My friend and I booked a room and went through the stupid process that everyone else has described (sending it an invoice and a copy of your ID and receiving a door code and a booking number). However, DO... More

Convoluted process to book with many emails, texts, phone calls. I booked a month and a half in advance. Two days before my stay I was informed that the card didn't go through and that I no longer had a reservation. A normal business would have solved the problem with one phone call. This place would not answer the phone,... More

I'm writing this review right from the hostel. It's 4:05 AM and I can not sleep while the bed is so noisy that the guy above me weaks me up every 10 minutes, when he turns in his bed. I reported that tothe management and the owners son said: "There's nothing I can do. If you don't like our hostel,... More

My experience for this dorm room was great. In fact, it was a good challenge to check-in online, and then my State I.D. had a little trouble. So, I call Arthur manually, and then helped me with the scanning of my California State I.D. Card, and the other challenge was: I've checked-in manually with the key inside the key safe,... More

Tried to book in advance, called the location and the voicemail said they would only text (I assume to keep track of conversation) slightly weird but okay... "Arthur" told us there were rooms and the only way to book is online, we try to do so, enter in all the info including credit card and hit submit, then there is... More
