This hotel is incredible, they even have a booklet so that you can have a guide to all the art work in the hotel. Incredibly large rooms and wonderful bathrooms. I think this is a must stay in hotel if you visit Salt Lake City!

I spent three "conference" nights at the Grand America in May 2017 for an event drew some 3500 tech company management, investors, and educators, among others. While probably comfortable and offering reasonable resources and services for many individuals and families who travel to SLC, Grand America was adequate, at best, for many who attended the April conference. However in fairness...

We went to the Afternoon Tea on the day before Mother's Day. There were 17 of us. We enjoyed the wonderful sandwiches and desserts. Our servers Amar and Danny were so fun and friendly and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. They were very accommodating. The roses were an extra nice touch. We had a great time and look forward to...

The rooms were huge. Think "classy old style fancy" in terms of decor. Quality furnishings in excellent shape. TV, shower, toilet, all worked well. I told them about a cold water handle in one of the two sinks that leaked very slightly, only when the water was turned on, but they never fixed it. Internet was extremely slow at busy...

I attended a conference at Grand America and was very impressed with the hotel, the service, food, and location. It's a quick walk from downtown Salt Lake City, so very easy to go visit the downtown. The public spaces in the hotel were fabulous - I just wish I had time to spend at the pool complex!

Tea here was delightful, delicious and relaxing . One feels like a princess, especially with the attentive and excellent service of our personable waiter, AMAR.Both the savories and sweets were great accompaniments to my excellent Lord Bergamont tea. Of course, all was even more appetizing with the sparkling wine. I can't wait to do this again with my next visitors.

The Afternoon Tea at the Grand America Hotel is a wonderful experience and excellent value for your dollar. The food was wonderful and included sandwiches, scones and sweets as well as an excellent choice of teas. The service was the best I have ever had in my many Afternoon Teas. Amar was just wonderful. He constantly added more hot water...

Surpassed our expectations! Consistently wonderful staff. We were greeted and served with old school kindness and charm at every turn. The afternoon tea was among the best we've experienced. Front desk, restaurant, and shop staff all made us feel they were happy to accommodate any request. We will most definitely be back.

The Grand American was built to accommodate the Winter Olympics that took place in Salt Lake City in 2002. Everything about the hotel is huge, opulent, and...grand. This is probably the best hotel in SLC. The customer service is top-notch from the moment you arrive at the entrance. The lobby is opulent and well decorated. There is a beautiful cocktail...

For an urban setting this hotel has beautiful grounds. The courtyard with the tulips in the spring is amazingly gorgeous. The hotel has an old school fancy style with large rooms. Some of gold fixtures should be updated, but now I am nitpicking. Excellent service and housekeeping. I was disappointed with the dining and service in the Garden Cafe.
