This is a large Marriott in a good location downtown. The lobby is large and long. Front desk staff were helpful. The gym is a good size with nice views overlooking the streets. There are several treadmills, although at least two were not working properly. There is plenty of weight lifting equipment. The king room I had was large. The... More

The service here was great. Everyone is very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The room service was quick and the food was pretty decent though not the best I have ever had. I slept extremely well in their beds.

Excellent place to stay for both business and pleasure. Great location that is very close to everything you'd want while visiting Salt Lake City. The rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. The reception staff are all very personable and friendly as well as the Bellman. I wouldn't stay anywhere else while visiting Salt Lake City.

Jen and Lillian was so helpful. If they didn't know something they would find out for me. They made our stay so much brighter with their bubbly personalities. Lisa was helpful at night. The place was wonderful. I wasn't as impressed by the breakfast, however the staff for breakfast was fast.

The room was good-sized and quiet. The bathroom was large. The internet worked well, and was free. The in-room coffee maker was appreciated. The hotel's restaurant was superb. The staff was friendly. I would certainly stay there next time. As another reviewer said -- good, reliable Marriott.

We stayed at the Marriott City Center during our visit for the UW Husky vs Utes game and had a wonderful stay in downtown SLC. This was my first visit to SLC and I was most impressed by the wonderful, friendly people in this city. Everyone is polite and considerate. We used the light rail that runs through the center... Pluses....excellent fitness center on the second floor, with floor to ceiling windows...good Concierge Club with breakfast and a good place to work, excellent wifi. And a plus, a modern hotel with sealed windows, but with a small slit at the bottom to let in fresh air...a real plus. No surprises here, but a reliable in city Marriott, which is why... More

The Salt Lake City Marriott City Center is one of the better Marriott hotels at which I have stayed. The hotel itself is good, but the staff makes it great. They were courteous and helpful without being pushy or intrusive. Bring your walking shoes, and you can get to everything from the Salt palace to the Temple Square in a... More

The concierge and staff were extremely friendly when I checked in. I was there for a wedding and my mother ended up staying with me but I had to downgrade to get two beds. My mom had problems with Marriott still charging her for two rooms when she should not have paid for either. The room was clean but there... More

This was our first visit to Salt Lake City and we were impressed. It's a lovely, modern city with lots to do. We were there in the middle of the week so we had our pick of restaurants and sights with no crowds. The central location of the Marriott meant we were able to walk everywhere. Check-in was fast and... More
