We were passing through Salt Lake City and needed a place to stop for the night. This was perfect for our needs. This was probably the largest campground I've ever seen. However the staff was friendly and helpful and we were even able to get a late check out so we could watch a Sunday football game. Two things I... More

We loved being right downtown and so close to everything we wished to see. The check-in was easy and finding our pull-through spot was easy due to it being well marked, paved and therefore level. Having been on the road for several weeks, we needed their laundry facilities and found the room to be clean and everything working. Wifi was... More

This is by far one of the best KOA's we have been to and very well organized for check in Campsite was not noisy and has shuttle to Temple downtown which was handy and train right across street so very handy to catch

Better than expected after reading some reviews. Well located for visiting SLC. Quiet other than train and some traffic noises, expected in a city. Huge place. We were in a space way in the back surrounded by bigger rigs with people who looked like they were longer term guests so perhaps that's why it was so peaceful. Also no families... More

This KOA is about as close as you can get to camping in the large city of Salt Lake. It is conveniently located right next to a light rail stop. You can ride into town and then explore on your own or for free using the in-town transportation system. The cost of the campsites is high for the amenities you... More

After a long drive in I was happy to find the friendly staff. as previous reviewers mentioned, Busy street behind the tent area, So I did feel sorry for those campers. But the RV spots are nice I would also imagine the cabins to be nice also. Close to food and attractions would stay again

It's got full hookups and paved sites. It's a MASSIVE park, lots of long term residents. There is a nice store and lots of trees, but it's right in the middle of a city and not really camping. That being said, it's very clean and the people were all very friendly and helpful. If you have to stay in SLC,... More

Let's start by saying this isn't real camping. No fires and you are about 5 feet from the next people camping. However the real problem was the noise. There's a busy street right behind the tent area and you can hear trucks, motorcycles, etc. There also seemed to be a lot of homeless people on this street being loud late... More

I ended up getting there after the office had closed, but found 2 of the employees who were locking the gate to the pool who helped me find a tent site. They were very helpful and called the night person so that I could stay. It was a grassy site at the front of there whole area. On the weekends... More

We stayed here in August of 2015. The park is very unsecure and the camper next to us was robbed of their folding chairs and table in the night. The next day, while we were out, their 150+ psi water pressure blew holes in my hose and separated the fittings on both sides of my standard RV pressure regulator. This... More
